You just seem to be a Uchiha hater. Sasuke took on Yamato, Sai, Sakura and Naruto, non chalantly. He improved the most after the time skip, therefore Orichimaru is the best teacher.

Tsunade. Sasuke was always a genius, and Naruto didn't really learn that much under Jiraiya: he learnt how to access Kurama's chakra, got a summoning contract, and learnt the (Odama) Rasengan.

Tsunade turned Sakura from a useless waste of panels to a decent kunoichi.

Overall, Jiraiya. He raised Minato, Naruto, Nagato, Yahiko and Konan. The former three are undoubtably Top 10 and the latter two, we don't know enough about. Ororchimaru is not far behind with Sasuke, Kabuto and..Anko as his students. The former two are Top 10 and Anko, I won't comment on. Tsunade raised Shizune and Sakura who are formidable shinobi. But most of the training that Jiraiya gave - his students progressed most independantly, so I don't know if his teaching skills are the beat. Orochimaru made Sasuke a prodigy I only comparable by the likes of Itachi and Minato. He learned Chidori Variants, Sword of Kusangi Use and Kenjutsu Overall, Snake Summons, Cursed Seal Use etc.

Jiraiya raised the best students but Orochimaru was the better teacher. Tsunade was in between but I believe that if she had more "talented" and "blessed" students (bloodline wise), she'd be the best since neither of her students were prodigies, from a powerful clan, a Jinchūriki, has the Rinnegan etc.

The thread is about who is the better TEACHER. Tsunade has raised more ninja for the village then Orochimaru and Jiraiya combined did for their own.

Nagato + Naruto + Konan became OP AFTER Jiraiya left them, hell Naruto owes equally to Tsunade and Kakashi and Iruka

Yahiko was uh ok power wise, but still stronger then Nagato was when they were in the akatsuki.

His prized student is Minato, thought his main thing is from the 2nd Hokage ;p




Orochimaru:

Chidori variations were dependent on Sasuke truly, And yes he did teach him the most ninjutsu + Kenjutsu. But then you have to equal it with Medical ninjutsu, which it self includes many many things.

The results of the 2 year training makes Jiraiya look completely different to the Jiraiya everyone is praising right now, he taught Naruto a few things like: Basic knowledge,Breaking out of basic genjutsu,Odama Rasengan and tapping into the nine tails chakra.

Sakura learned and developed more than Part 2 Naruto after the time skip:Medical ninjutsu,Chakra control,Focusing chakra into her forehead,Evasive skills,Medicines and taking lead in operations.

Sasuke got the most out of the 2 years obviously, he out classed sai,naruto,yamato and sakura without even using the Curse Mark.He soloed 1000 of fodders and improved his shunshin jutsu and genjutsu prowess.

Orochimaru is the best teacher imo.

Only thing Sakura now got is something Tsunade taught her years ago. o-o

I love Jiraiya, but that list's quite unfair. Minato's the only one that counts there.

Base Naruto is what Jiraiya accomplished. Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko were only around Chuunin level I'd say when Jiraiya left them.

Either way I was still correct on who the better teacher for the three main characters were <(-.-<)

In my opinion, I would choose Jiraiya, as the overall best. Orichimaru's people skills aren't exactly .... Normal.

It's not about who trained Sasuke/Naruto/Sakura the most, It's their ability as a teacher. Orochimarus students are powerful, butcompared to Nagato/Naruto/Minato/Conan? They were all trained by Jiraiya. It's not just power and techniques that make a good student, it's about morals and such. and while you may say Nagato turned out bad, he was trying to do the right thing, just going about the wrong way.


EDIT: Just saw your latest post, I agree on the sasuke/naruto thing. But given more time Jiraiya would've taught him sage mode and such ;D, whereas Orochimaru really couldn't keep going with sasuke.

jman made naruto who he is, also gave him the will to change the ninja world, and helped him get better at controlling the 9tails. Oyea and his signature jutsu the rasengan, so yea imma go with jman, but oro and tsunade were good teachers but jman is the better out of the 3

Jiraiya was against Naruto going on missions.... . Sakura's sensei is the one who sent him on missions where he learned stuff. And then not to mention shes more responsible for him learning Sage mode then Jiraiya.

Also, Kakashi and Iruka..... hell without even Iruka Naruto would still be a loner.

if you really insist on the full explanation on y i pick jiraiya then read further

i jugde a teacher by 2 categories
- the quality of student before and after the training from the particular teacher [basically the overall improvement of the student]
- the time for which the sensei trained him/her
(i think most of you would agree that its an acceptable method to measure any sensei)

Naruto:
before Jiraiya's training - was not a smart cookie, didn't have full understanding of chakra, didn't even know how to get out of a genjutsu,didn't know anything but shadow clone jutsu(and sexy jutsu), was low end genin level

after Jiraiya's training - overall almost a high jonin(this is without SM) , had rasengan the highest form of chakra manipulation, knew how to counter genjutsu(he did fail against itachi but who wouldn't), summoning jutsu, combination jutsus with his summons

Time it took Jiraiya to train naruto: atmost 2 years (remember jiraiya trained naruto while writing porn novels, trying to score with women, and spy/gather info for leaf village)

if you can come up with a better stat for anyother Sanin then i'll change my opinion
rememner Sasuke was a genius to begin with and sakura was not far behind
