As Gaara changes his direction in mid-air, he watches on keenly, as a hand like structure made up of sand catches him and pulls him downward, towards his shisou, as he lands safely. Getting up, he folds up his hands, as he listens to the further instructions.

Finally, it was time for him to start learning techniques. After all, the world was at war, and it needed him!

One-three advantages:

1. It requires no weaving of handseals to perform the technique.
2. The range is pretty sweet, it extends upto mid-range.
3. Consumes very less chakra, as well as makes the opponent vulnerable, as he is pushed into mid-air.

One-three disadvantages:

1.Even though the opponent is vulnerable is mid-air, it acts as a medium for him to perform techs which require one to be in mid-air
2.Lightning channeled through the ground would pierce through the sand and neutralize the technique.

How you would use it in battle: Well, I would use this to force the opponent to go into mid-air and follow up with some sweet Taijutsu combos/use powerful streaming attacks to hurt the opponent. Well, in the NW, it can be used while hiding oneself, to lift the gate guards into mid-air, and sneak in quickly. Simple, but versatile.

What would be your counter for it:

Simplest and most versatile lightning technique. As D Rank Lightning>D Rank Sand, I guess, some bolts of lightning channeled through the feet toward the ground would pierce the sand and divide it.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): Gaara builds up a small amount of sand chakra in his gourd, and spatially recomposes the said sand to give it a shape of a spinning pillar, as the sand pillar rises below the opponent, taking along the surrounding dust with it, thus lifting the opponent into the air.

One-three advantages:

1. Once again, requires no weaving of handseals
2. Multiple pillars cover a larger horizontal area and can be used on the opponent to lift him further with greater force, as well as lift onself too to prevent oncoming attacks.

One-three disadvantages:

1. Essentially the same. The opponent can use the movement of the pillars, to use attacks which would require one to be in mid-air.
2. Albeit, a lightning technique with more range could pierce through the pillars.
3. And, again it has a short-range limitation.

How you would use it in battle: Basically the same as before. I would use it to hurl the opponent into mid-air and follow up with powerful attacks. This is also better than it's counterpart, as it covers a larger area and I could also use this on my own self to evade oncoming attacks.

What would be your counter for it: Well, there are multiple pillars, so I would use a little widespread lightning technique to pierce through the pillars.

This would not only pierce through the pillars, it would also move underground and shock the opponent, as well as rip through him.
What speed would you rate this 1-3: Same as before. 2.

One-three advantages:

1. It requires no weaving of handseals, and isn't chakra taxing.
2. The user can control the shape and size of the eye.
3. It can form and disperse in any given location, thus when the job is done, the user can disperse it, hence making the enemy not notice the eye.

One-three disadvantages:

1. Well, sensory users could sense the eye, as it is made up of the users chakra.
2. This tech requires the user to close one of his eyes, thus making him vulnerable to attacks.
3. Pretty easily destroyed by simple lightning techniques.

How you would use it in battle: Well, this is a great technique and not even chakra taxing. I would use this obviously to spy on villages or spy on the enemy's location. As in the manga, I could use this technique to see what's happening outside when I use the Sand shield to surround myself. Also, this can be used to check up on traps, which are not visible to the normal human eye from the ground.

What would be your counter for it: Counter, err..I guess lightning would work, since the eye is made up of sand? Not sure..:/

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): Gathering my Suna chakra from the gourd, I focus upon it, as I create an eye made up of sand. I launch this eye high up in the sky. This specific eye is connected to my optic nerve. Placing my hand on one of my eyes, I close it, which enables me to see things from the created eye. I specifically see buildings the size of dots and birds flying the sky, and some trees in the distance.

Don't you think Sand Release needs a revamp? Most of the techniques are so similar and boring. >_>

One-three advantages:

1. Quite fast again, requires no weaving of handseals.
2. Even when hit with physical techniques, the clones reform again and again, thus giving it an edge against normal and shadow clones.
3. It can be used to trap objects and projectiles, so it would be really useful to store bombs and stuff, and then lead the enemy towards the trap and detonate the bombs.

One-three disadvantages:

1. They cost 10 chakra to appear again.
2. It's easily distinguishable by it's brown colour and easily countered by Lightning, Water and Earth.

How you would use it in battle: This isn't very useful for NW, because the opponent can distinguish you. However, I've noted that, when Gaara used to enclose himself in the Sand shield, he would use the clones to help him see the outside world, while he would see through the third eye when simultaneously engulfing himself by the shield. Also, the clones trap objects and things, so I would use this against projectiles and Taijutsu attacks.

What would be your counter for it: I would use lightning to destroy the clones and possibly Water/Earth to hit the clones badly, while targeting the original to kill him.

What speed would you rate this 1-3: 2, I guess.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I gather Sand chakra from within the gourd, after which I close my eyes, imagining a picture of myself. After I focus on my mental image, I manipulate my chakra while still keeping the image intact in my mind, as I form two identical copies of myself, completely made up of Sand, albeit brown in colour.

Question: Can the clones use normal elemental techs?

Actually I am working on a Subaku Revamp for Scorps, it desperately needs it. Alot of our jutsus are just repeats of others at different ranks. Stay tuned though, your gonna like it.

Now as for your question, I'm gonna go with...No for now. As you can see sand clone needs a revamped cause obviously the sand clones are not always Brown in color or shaped as Gaara. This was seen when Gaara used a Sand Clone to replace the Onoki when they fought the Second Mizukage. So, I feel not only can Sand Clones separate and maintain distance from Gaara, but they can be formed with color to look like another person.

So, it will need redone and increased to a Higher Rank and so fourth. Now I want you to understand that when the revamp is done, if Scorps accepts and implements the changes, we will most likely have to retrain in a few things, and somethings you've learned will be incorrect or no longer exist.

Okay, nicely done.

Gaara stomps his right foot on the ground, almost instantly a stream of sand washes his pupil away, catching the sand clones making they're ankles lost shape and they collapse into the stream of sand.

Now, use your control over your sand to reform the clones, afterwards use the same Jutsu I just used on you, to move and destroy your clones.

One/three Advantages:

1. The opponent can be pushed away with the sand stream, i.e. to be led into a trap and such.
2. The stream extends upto long range, so it's pretty good.
3. Basically, due to the stream being fast moving, the opponent finds it hard to balance himself and well, it requires no weaving of handseals.

One-three disadvantages:

1. The stream can be neutralized by lightning.
2. I guess, since it's a stream, the user needs to maintain focus over his chakra.
3. It has no offensive or defensive uses.

How you would use it in battle: Well, I would use this in short range to incapacitate the opponent and lead him to traps, wherein I would have placed bomb tags before. The stream being fast moving would hinder the opponent off balance, and I would use that moment to use something like Dropping Lid or a finishing Sand technique, since the sand is already present.

What would be your counter for it: Lightning to neutralize the stream and Water to turn the sand stream into mud, thus preventing myself from pushed away.

What speed would you rate this 1-3: 1.5 :/

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): As I see my shisou, destroy the clones, by stomping his foot and using the clones to form the stream, I watch on, after which, I reform the clones, by performing the Sand Clone jutsu once more, using precise chakra control to do that. After the clones are reformed, I stomp my foot on the ground, and use the Sand chakra from the gourd to destroy the clones, as they're washed away.

(Kanchiki Suna no Jutsu) - Sensor Sand Technique

One/three Advantages:

1. This special sand requires no weaving of handseals to perform.
2. Basically, it can sense the opponent once in contact with him, and alert the user of his location.
3. It also has the ability to stick to invisible objects and people, and I guess it can even sense Muu. 0_>
4. The range is pretty good and it can also detect people in mid-air.

One/Three Disadvantages:

1. It has no offensive or defensive uses..
2. The sand takes quite a time to reach the target.
3. Unless it's a desert, the opponent can easily make out that sand on a rocky terrain or such is suspicious.
4. Last, but not the least, it requires contact with the target to detect.

How you would use it in battle:The obvious. I would use this to detect an opponent's location, specifically one who has become invisible and such, as the sand would stick to their body and make their presence noted. Possibly use a Sand clone to mask it within the special sand and then attack the opponent on sight.

What would be your counter for it: As soon as I would notice the Sand, on a rocky terrain or a forest..etc..I would use Wind to scatter the thin sand away from me. However, it would be safer to hide one's chakra, but that would be metagaming. >_>

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I focus upon the Sand chakra in my gourd, and use my control to disperse it over a large area, albeit this is special type of Sand. I make the sand travel towards your clone who is mid-range from me, and as it sticks to his body, I get intel on his location and use Lightning to finish him off.

OOC: This technique should have long range reach. No? Mid-range seems weird, since in the manga it was scattered on a large area.

Great work, you are doing very good with this template. Ill let you choose what gets removed from the template when we reach the next rank.

Now you did okay with the how you would use it, I like to plant it on my opponent early in the battle. If you use it correctly or hidden in another jutsu it will cling to your opponent without them knowing and you can sense there location for the whole battle, unless they remove it somehow without metagaming. I've used it as part of my Sand Shield against Taijutsu users. They attack, sand shield auto defends, while their fist strikes the shield, a little of that special sand can cling to their knuckles if they wear gloves or splash off onto their clothes. Santon release seems boring and repetitive, you gotta be creative to keep it unique.

(Suna Shuriken) - Sand Shuriken

I've been working on a CJ for this. Having the sand shuriken reform after making contact with something. So if they throw Kunai at me, I can use it to block their kunai and reform continuing in the direction i threw them. Everything is a work in project though. This jutsu should be easy for you. Direct your attack against me.

One/three Advantages:

1. It has a great range.
2. They're faster than normal shurikens and deal blunt damage.
3. One can send upto ten spheres of sand at once, thus it can be directed at multiple opponents.

One/three Disadvantages:

1. Each shuriken has only 6 damage points, so if the opponent is hit by only one shurikens, it's pretty useful, unless they all hit together.
2. The opponent can defend from it by activating Lightning Strike Armour simply or use Lightning infused shurikens to deflect their trajectory as well as neutralize the sand, thus breaking it down into pieces.
3. They aren't sharp and only cause blunt damage.

How you would use it in battle: Even though they don't have the cutting power of normal shuriken, they're very fast. So, I would use this in short range, and launch many of them in succession. And, possibly multiply the shuriken with Shuriken Kage Bunshin if it is possible. An interesting thing would be to infuse special sensor sand into it, so that when it comes in contact with the opponent, the sand clings to him. One can also use Fuuton to augment the speed of the shuriken, as they cover a massive range.

What would be your counter for it: Well, as it's a sand infused shuriken, I would deflect it with lightning infused shuriken.

How you perform it(with as much as detail as you can): Gathering Suna from the gourd, I make it blunt and spatially recompose it to form a shuriken of sorts. Secretly, I also infuse sensor sand chakra into it, and I then start by launching a single shuriken. Slowly, I release more and more, releasing upto ten spheres of fast moving sand. Due to the speed of the shurikens being faster than normal ones and the centrifugal force, it hits you at certain points, and as they come in contact with your skin, they deal blunt damage as well the sensor sand clings to you.

We saw Gaara use this in the Chunin exams when he battled Sasuke. It was originally used to protect Gaara during his transformation phase. Seeing as you are not the host of Shukaku I don't think you will find much practical use for this jutsu as there are others that mimic this but at a higher rank and speed. We will get into that later of course.

2. Well, it can be used as a setup for other techniques like Hiding Like A Mole, etc.
3. The user can form a sand clone, and make it use the cocoon, and as the opponent is focused on destroying the cocoon, the user can secretly emerge and kill the opponent easily.

1. Well, Lightning can pierce through it easily.
2. The user can't see the opponent, thus he doesn't know what is coming.

Range is excellent, and the jutsu is great. Simple too. I would simply extend electricity from my hand to pierce through the Sand Cocoon.

I gather Sand chakra from the gourd and shape it in such a way that it forms a dense sphere of sand, surrounding me from all around. The Sand sphere is shaped like a cocoon and is very dense, thus it's hard to pierce through it with normal attacks. As you toss the kunais towards me, the density of the cocoon, makes the kunais fall, as I prepare to hide underground.

Well done, well done. This time we are gonna do 2 jutsus cause honestly...one is pretty self explanatory. But it evolves so much of Gaara's arsenal\survivability.

First up is the ever popular Sand Cloud. Needless to say, this is where Gaara uses a small portion of Sand to form a cloud similar to Dragon Balls Flying Nimbus. This can be used to carrier yourself, objects, other people, pretty much whatever you can think of.

So pretty much, channel your chakra and manipulate the sand into the cloud, from there you can control it to fly at high altitudes.
(Sabaku Fuyuu) - Floating Sand

Description: A cloud of sand that levitates the user to protect them from harm or to give then an air advantage.

So for the next one, you will send sand into the ground and use it to grind the dirt\footing below your opponent cause the ground to give way and them to sink into the sand you used to churn the ground away. You wanna use this a few meters below them, to prevent the ground from "vibrating" as your sand loosens and grinds the dirt away. You can then use another jutsu to crush them after they are immobilized.

1. It requires no weaving of handsigns, as well it's first, basically you gather chakra from the gourd and instantly form the gourd.
2. It has a long range reach, which is pretty excellent.
One can use this for scouting enemies from a high altitude as well as lift oneself away from potentially dangerous attacks like lightning or Water.
It can also carry multiple allies, as shown in the manga, and it moves with a great speed, thus can be used to carry wounded shinobis to medical help and stuff in the NW.

List two disadvantages of this jutsu:

1. Jutsus like Water Whip and Lightning techs neutralize the sand and pierce through it/make it wet, thus increasing it's density which causes it to lose the gravitational opposition against the Earth's force.
2. Being in mid-air, the user is vulnerable to fast Fire attacks and such.

Rate the speed of this jutsu(Why you rate it that): 1 because the cloud is just simply formed by instant shape manipulation.

How you would counter it in battle(List a jutsu you would use): Target the sand cloud with a Water release tech preferably:

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):

After hearing your instructions, I gather Suna chakra from the gourd, and try to give it a certain shape. Thinking once more, I picture a cloud, and spatially recompose my chakra to shape the gathered Sand into a cloud under me, as I channel enough chakra through it, so as to carry my weight as well as act against the gravitational force of the Earth, the resultant which causes it to levitate and see the surroundings from a high altitude clearly.

List two advantages of this jutsu:

1. The sand has the ability to restrict an opponent as well as kill him, thus giving the user time to follow up with a finishing attack.
2. The pressure of the sand is so dense that the opponent can't move a muscle to gather chakra or weave handseals.
3. It has a mid-range reach, which is quite great.

List two disadvantages of this jutsu:

1. The sand forms slowly and can be easily neutralized by Lightning chakra.
2. Albeit, it can potentially kill, but it has no damage points.

Rate the speed of this jutsu(Why you rate it that): 2 as the dirt below the opponent takes a little time to loosen and crumble into dense flowing Sand

How you would counter it in battle(List a jutsu you would use): As soon as the dense river of sand is formed, I would channel Lightning toward it to pierce through the density of the sand, and split it apart, thus saving myself.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I manipulate the dirt and Earth around the opponent, using my manipulation of Sand chakra, i.e. sending Sand into the ground, as I loosen it to sink into the dense sand, that I used to loosen it. Albeit, I use it a few metres below them to loosen the particles, as the vibration isn't felt by the opponent. The resultant successfully forms super dense river of Sand, as it slowly starts sucking the opponent inside. The swallowed opponent sinks 200m underground, unable to move a single muscle, even twitching a single finger becomes impossible. The sand glued to his limbs applies such an immense pressure as well the sinking sand does the same, slowly killing the opponent, crushing his bones.
