Again

All the time, every day, all alone,
A sigh of regret, I look to the sky,
I fear inside, that I’ll drown,
In my sorrow, can’t I just say goodbye?

I walk through the gates, into the same world,
It’s all no different; they all ignore my pleading cries,
Except for you, I can see that you’re worried,
You’re the only truth in a world full of lies.

Gazing upon you, a pure white pearl,
The smile of innocence becomes you,
Sets my heart awhirl,
And you stole my heart before I even knew.

Beyond my coldness and pain,
You look into my heart, to thaw that which is dormant,
Soon, I’ll be able to love again,
You’ll bring an end to my eternal torment.

The fire in my heart is revived,
All because you, the shining light of my life,
Were there to help me survive,
And look to the future with me, beyond all the pain and strife.​

Beyond All​

I'm the only coward, in a world full of chance

Beyond your warmth and love
I look into your soul, to find that which is alive
Soon, we'll be high up above,
We'll bring to life our wildest dreams, and take the dive

The magic in our world will revive
All because we hold on tight
We never give up or lose sight
We make it through, beyond all hardships, we're alive​

well, im not sure. my poem is simply a mirror to ruru's poem. He wrote the first one and I just wrote mine in response to his. I tried to mirror it as close as possible, though I'm not sure if you like this style of collab
but i think it turned out nicely ^^''

This is my first time doing something like this, so I'm happy that my first collaboration project was a success. If I can afford the time to get my creative spark back, more will be sure to come. Thanks for reading guys!
