She really needs to look harder at reality. There's no way naruto would fall for that cheap trick.

She clearly isn't being completely truthful with Naruto, but I think there may be some truth within Sakura's confession. She may be developing feelings for Naruto, but they probably aren't fully developed. It seems to be clear that her main reason for confessing at all was to convince Naruto to stop chasing Sasuke and forget his promise.

it always was and always will be triangle, sakura cares about Naruto but like one friends cares about another, she wants him forget sasuke and let him go....but she still missed the point...and she rly should get over sasuke, time to grow up. i never met anyone in real life who would love someone like she did without seang or knowing what, where he is....epic

:sakura:'s surely lying but mainly to herself. I'm guessing she was obviously being affected by every1 telling her 2 give up on :sasuke: for the past 3 years or so and hence ultimately acknowledged the fact that sasuke might just be gone for GOOD and dat :sasuke: doesn't really care about her. So naturally her emotions have fallen upon a back-up plan which is :naruto: as she's had a long relationship (friendly but still). Sub-consciously she's just beginning to mis-understand her relationship with :naruto: considering the abscence of:sasuke:... That's just my 2 cents...
P.S. I agree with the guy who said:naruto: shud just pimp-slap:sakura: and tell her 2 go back 2 Konoha with her BS..

Well said doc. xdNow, there are only one thing I still didn't understand... the flashback where she's talking with every1 else, including hinata about a favor (was it that she'll confess to Naruto or that she need every1 to go after sasuke like shikamaru's plan?) or something else?. Plus, what she told to Kiba that she wanted to say .?. to naruto. What was that and why Kiba looked surprised when she talked to him? There's more there than I could say.

I think Sakura is turned on by how Naruto is turning out to be all grown now, smarter, stronger, and a HERO of the village.
It's just like Avril Lavigne song "Skater Boy." Naruto was made fun off and no one wanted him he was the dork in school, while Sasuke was the Football Jockey who had all the girls. But Sasuske grew up and still working at Burger King while Naruto became sucessful and is a CEO.
What naruto needs to do is bang Sakura, and leave her for Hinata afterwards
