lol Are you purposely trying to twist my words and suit yourself or you are naive enough to be really missing the point?
She is the lead character for Naruto as a character which connects the team Kakashi. She is the one who is there consistently for all her teammates as long as they let her be. Beyond that Kishi didn't feel the need to detail it. It's his story not mine. So fine by me.
I am not hung up with a personal idea of how a heroine should/must be. Not all stories demand a strong presence of male/female character. When I feel like reading strong female characters I would pick something else.

Of course she is a main character, there is no denying that. From what we have seen from her, in terms of abilities and overall calibre, is that she is more of a support character . . . I suck at wording this :NO: ( Basically she is a main character with a support character's development ? Best way I could put it )
