We saw Naruto summoned Frog(Jiraiya) and Sasuke the Snake(Orochimaru)...

Kishi is always foreshadowing things...

Yeah she probably will some time later but it seems like Kishi forgot Sakura was one of the main characters hence she gets less screen time than some minor characters.

Yeah, hopefully he'll keep it on that track, meaning to develop the story so that Team 7 will be the next Sannins.
But as we can see, Kishi only put Naruto and Sasuke...Sakura,well, he forgot about her as always...
Maybe he'll do it later, hopefully.
