People people. This Debate is pointless> If we are to properly look through the strenghts and weakness of the characters hinata wins hands down. People say hinata is slow, they say sakura's chakra control is greater, sakura as more stamina? i mean come on guys...really? seriosly...have i been reading and watching the wrong Naruto. Obviosly the outcome can be either way based on how kishi would write it but to face real hard core facts...Hinata is just a bad match for Sakura even tho sakura is a talented female nin.
Hinata has the Byakugan... not just some white eyes but one of the three great dojutsus... that in and alone of itself posses a great challenge for sakura. The Byakugan can read attacks, probably not as good as the sharingan but it can observe movement, so avoid and evade really isnt a problem for Hinata. Where in manga does it portray sakura have speed? No no no thats is not true..sakura is probably as fast as choji *(just saying*.Hinata is more flexible and i must add more agile than sakura...*take for instance "shuugo hakke rukujo yonsho" and if u say thats in the anime, then cretainly twin lion gentle fist. Secondly in what world does sakura have greater chakra control than hinata....u people do realise that becoming a medical ninja isnt something that only a small selected group can do...there are thousands of medical ninjas, and good chakra control is a requirement, i do agree that her punching attack requires some more commitment but There is a reason Jyuuken has remained only in the hyuuga clan, the only medical ninja to come close to a jyuuken type attack is Kabuto. Hinata can release chakra from her entire body..wth?? she could be a medical genius if she wanted to. Taijutsu is both their forte but fighting a Hyuuga head on is suicide, sakura has to maintain focus and cannot attack constantly with fists full of chakra, while on the other hand, Hinata with every thrust of her hands releases deadly chakra. Give credit to where it is due, Sakura vs Hinata is a no no. While its a who gets the first hit scenario, other attributes do determine that fact...Byakugan, empty wall palm, jyuuken...against what? oh yea punch, healing, and poison kunai.

Despite not being the main heroine of the series, Kishimoto stated that, at the time of the 2010 interview, Hinata would make a better heroine than Sakura. (not the main heroine)

It's not your fault, it just shows who has the bigger fanbase (although we already knew that). A lot of people look at poll and just vote and don't respond (I've been guilty of that a couple times myself lol) but it's because they like the character more or agree that the character is a better fighter and they're too lazy to argue it...that is my fault

well i guess it's obiously Hinata but on the other hand i havent really noticed any "ninja wise" or new jitsu difference from her at age 13-16, but of course she has the byakogan so thats a HUGE disadvantage for Sakura, even thought im a big fan of both girls :shrug:
