Sakura's only chance is to engage CQC with him, but considering Gaara can fly, I don't see her winning against a barrage of sand attacks.

This shit is why Sakura supporters have a bad name. Knock it off.
Sakura could probably kill Garaa in one hit, and even could possibly slap shukaku around, but Garaa will never give her the chance. He will be up on his flying sand cloud just burying her over and over until he manages to seal her before she can punch out.
It's a battle that Sakura can't win with their current skill sets unless she's standing 5 feet from him when the fight starts and can paste him before he can fly away.

While I believe Sakura's punch can effortlessly repel part1 Gaara's sand tsunami, current Gaara's sand is faster, stronger and has a better defense. If she gets restrained by the Kazekage's sand, she won't be able to escape because she has no natural strength to overpower it.
Gaara wins with mid difficulty.

Gaara has never been shown to be overly inventive or intelligent. All of his fights are simply him trying to smack whoever he's fighting with sand and kill them by chasing them around and pummeling them. It could honestly be said that he never even thinks of flying unless it's absolutely necessary to chase the enemy around or for his life. And in reality, by the time he noticed that his life was in imminent danger by Sakura's punches, his sand shield would already have been broken, and her fist would be half-way to his face.Even If Gaara did Fly Of she strikes the ground the boulders and gravel flying in the air would tire him out.Seeing as He dosen't have Shukaku level reserves he Can't continuously Sand Tsunami even if He Did Sakura could easily leap into the air or summon Katsuyu to see overhead.As FemmeFatale Said Acid Renders Sand Useless After Gaara See's That he won't want to try Straight Forward Method.Sakura could've Then Amplify her Speed and and engage in CQC Gaara can't Do anything even if her tries flying the same tactic will bring him down he will eventually get knocked Down.Sakura High Diff
