Sakura & Tsunade taijustu style is one of the best styles in CQC.

Sakura and Tsunade easily have the worst fighting styles in this manga. Their whole method of combat involves getting hit by an enemy, relying on regeneration to survive, and hoping their opponent isn't perceptive enough to reacting to their "potshot."
They are significantly slower than any other Taijutsu fighter in the game (Kimimaro, Killer Bee, Gai, Lee, Neji, Raikage), and have no finesse or technique in their CQC execution (dodging attacks and utilizing acrobatics to flank the enemy), instead choosing to charge forward in a linear line at their opponent. It's pretty much why Kabuto, a self proclaimed sucker at CQC, managed to best a rusty Tsunade.

Nothing biased about saying Kimimaro is superior to either of them.
He is superior to them in every category that isn't physical strength (which he makes up for with bone swords sharp enough to deflect samurai chakra blades in base). He is faster, has a more refined Taijutsu style and can incorporate Kenjutsu into it, he has more attacking range than they do in the form of finger bullets and bone forest, he is far more durable than either of them, and has regenerative capabilities comparable to Byakugo.

kimimaro would probably win to Tsunade, either way it would be high diff, since both of them have great healing abilities and amazing taijutsu skills, but he'd beat Sakura rather easily

Only way I can see Kimimaro losing to either of them is if he lacks knowledge on their physical strength, and even then, the durability of his bones combined with regeneration could save him.

Like you mentioned the AoE of their attacks is tremendous which allows them to compete with faster and more refined taijutsu users and even long ranged ninjutsu specialists. Strong armour can protect against the AoE but that reduces the armour bearers speed allowing for one to get taken in by a direct punch from either Sakura or Tsunade.
One punch from them is equal to a large number of punches from most other shinobi even including those that are considered more skill in taijutsu on NB. They output a high amount of damage and can take a high amount of damage as well.
They are especially useful for fighting mobs of enemies or giant colossal opponents.
