Does anyone know any counters that Hidan would have to Katsuyu's acid?

Sakura might also be able to keep him away by punching the ground or throwing rocks/boulders at him.

you are underestimating chiyos pariticpance in that battle a bit. she didnt just help sakura a couple of times, but a whole lot. chiyo initially was the one with the strings controlling and moving sakura around thus it helped to counter sasoris puppets not to mention chiyo was a fellow pupeteer so she understood and was the perfect person to fight sasori alongside sakura of course. i wouldnt really say sakura did most of the fighting herself though she did do a lot.

Ok point made. Maybe little more than a few. But that was mainly because Sakura was intimidated by the sheer experience Sasori had over her. Don't forget Chyo's own comment. Once the 3rd Kazekage doll was introduced Sakura took the reigns of that fight. Chyo was impressed because she hardly had to move Sakura. I don't wan't to down play Chyo as she was VERY important to this fight (it was her grandson afterall)

Hidan can easily hold his distance by using his scythe, if Sakura manages to get close if she goes to Hidan's body she can easily get stomped by his scythe technique, if she punches the ground it won't do shit as he go hit by this and got no injuries

Yeah like she has the skill to even do so... Asuma is much better then her at using weapons and hand to hand combat had problems with the scythe, if she trie to catch the scythe she'll end up bleeding and at that moment it will be GG Sakura
