I'm surprised to hear people still say that she can beat Sasori. Without Chiyo she'd never be able to evade him.

There are just so many ways he could kill her it's not even funny.

1.) Huge cloud of poison-Sakura has the antidote so that won't work.
2.) Squished by iron sand- Didn't manage to squish her in the manga and Chyo only helped out a few times.
3.) Blitzed by 100 puppets-Byakugou/Katsuyu
4.) Burned by flamethrower-Byakugou/ Didn't work on her before so why now?
5.) Sliced up by water gun-Byakugou/ Plus she manged to avoid the water gun before so why not now.

With regeneration and her analytical prowess, intel isn't needed . If you think she'd need intel to beat the, your under rating her intellect, and skills of preception

We are trying to figure out who sakura can beat and you're joking around.

Chiyo helping "a few times" is still helping. Either there's Chiyo or there's not, and if Chiyo wasn't there then Sakura certainly would have died. We all know this. Again, why would Chiyo have chakra strings attached to Sakura if no help was even needed. Even Sasori said that Sakura was moving weird because she was being controlled.

There's no way in hell Sakura is dodging Iron Sand Drizzle. She would have a dozen holes in her head and it turn her body into mush.

As for the fire and water techniques, Sasori was using one gun per person. I don't see Sakura dodging both if he was 100% focused on just her.

100 puppet technique getting countered? To me that's more like head chopped off x100.

Here comes ....i think she can beat zetsu...do you guys think hidan would loose to sakura in taijutsu...hidan was on par with asuma in taijutsu...and was on par with kakashi...he is faster than sakura....i'm sorry but a one on one would be in hidan's favour...he can dacapitate his head and still reattach it..sakura can't
......she might have a chance against sasori...i say a 4 out of 10 wins...the rest akatsuki beats her

The iron sand was totally demolishing rocks into dust. I don't it as an understatement.

Also, the sheer amount of sand balls flying around would certainly hit. There's no dodging it.

So let me ask you guys something then. How many ninja other than Naruto, Sasuke, Madara, Itachi, and Obito have actually solo'd anyone? Sakura had help. So did Naruto, Kakashi, Shikamur, Asuma, Gai, and Kakuzu and Hidan! All Akatsuki fight in pairs. every Akatsuki faced by ninjas other than Naruto and Sasuke had backup.

Stop using the argument "Sakura had help from chyo." it's a lame excuse. Only a handfull of ninja have ever solo'd Akatsuki. Everyone else had help that doesn't change the fact that current Sakura is still capable of beating some of these members. Just because she isn't Naruto or Sasuke doesn't mean she doesn't have the skill set or the knowledge to beat the guys mentioned above.

Hating or liking her doesn't change the fact that she is still capable of doing this.

Probably hidan, and that's 50/50 depending on whether or not he can land a blow in her. And without Intel, hidan is almost certainly gonna win

I agree with this. Without intel Sakura is screwed on all accounts...but that goes pretty much for almost every other ninja as well. Akatsuki members were so dangerous because of the thier unknown unique ablitlies. You get caught off guard from it which ultimately costs you your life without backup.

You saw how they were readily defeated as edo's once people had intel on them.

First off, I actually don't have any personal issues with Sakura's character.

Second, I totally agree that everyone has had help, including Naruto and Sasuke. I'm simply gauging what Sakura's chances are in a 1v1 battle. I can certainly make the same thread for Naruto and Sasuke if that makes you feel better.

This is why I believe she has a good chance against Sasori 1 VS 1 given her current skill set/experience. SHe did pretty well then and she is an even better ninja now.

Now without intel then yeah even her new skill set wouldn't help much. But with the knowledge she has I think she could fair pretty well.

Does anyone know any counters that Hidan would have to Katsuyu's acid?

Sakura might also be able to keep him away by punching the ground or throwing rocks/boulders at him.

Well each member is strong in their own way but I must say the one's she can more than likely beat are.

Sasori.
Zetsu.
Hiden.
And at best she could probably beat one or two of the pains.

you are underestimating chiyos pariticpance in that battle a bit. she didnt just help sakura a couple of times, but a whole lot. chiyo initially was the one with the strings controlling and moving sakura around thus it helped to counter sasoris puppets not to mention chiyo was a fellow pupeteer so she understood and was the perfect person to fight sasori alongside sakura of course. i wouldnt really say sakura did most of the fighting herself though she did do a lot.
