[Theory] Sakura sage mode will happen

In today's chapter, it finaly got confirmed that Shikkotsu forest is the place of the slugs.

What have we seen in the manga?

There are three places that are famous. Even though they dont list the exact reason why, it is kinda obvious what the reason is. You can learn sage mode in those places.
The place of the frogs is listed. You can learn sage mode in there. The place of the snakes/dragons is listed, you can learn sage mode in there. What the 3 places have in common, is that you are able to learn sage mode there, if you match the requirements to handle the ability.

*Jiraiya from an old generation with toad sage mode.
*Naruto from the new generation with toad sage mode (perfecting it).

*Oro from the old generation who couldnt reach perfect snake sage mode
(he can use senjutsu chakra, which he can pour in curse seals).
*Kabuto from the new generation with snake sage mode (perfecting it).

*Obviously we need someone from the new generation with slug sage mode and the best person for that job is Sakura.
Even if Hashirama and/or Tsunade have slug sage mode (perfect and/or imperfect), the story still needs someone from the new generation with slug sage mode.

Sakura sage mode is incomming!

Possible arguments against it:

She doesnt have the Chakra reserves!

Well there are ways around it. First of all we dont know if Slug sage mode has different requirements.
Second of all, she has a huge amount of chakra right now with the Byakugo seal.
There might be ways to use her perfect chakra control to get around it.
Hashirama is nearby, who could aid in some way.
Tsunade is on her way too.
Naruto could give chakra from Kurama.

Even implants(DNA) could be a possiblity, although the Byakugo seal would probably already be a major ingredient to reach the sage mode I think.
Edit: Maybe Sakura already has senjutsu chakra in the Byakugo seal.
After all, Oro stored senjutsu chakra in seals (like in the curse seal), so it is possible that someone else uses something similar.

That would be awesome! Maybe we could see Hashi use it too! Sakura really deserves to use it, but I feel like Tsunade lives for a reason...so if anyone's going to use this slug sage mode first it's going to be Tsunade.

I think it's definitely plausible. Kishi does things in 3's and this would be the third.

Chakra control is not an issue for her.

Chakra reserves are possibly not an issue for her with her seal.

These are the only limitations that really bar her from entry besides Katsuyu just saying "No." However, they appear to be on great terms.

The pieces are all there, Kishi just have to flip the switch.

Who knows. Maybe it is not only normal chakra that is stored in the Byakugo seal. Maybe it is Senjutsu chakra as well, seeing how Oro can store senjutsu chakra in seals.

Nice theory, I agree with you but if Kabuto took over the Snake Sage then what will Sasuke be?
Hp=ope hes not going to be a Snake Sage too, that woul djust ruin the whole thing for me. :/

They all mimic the previous Sannin so if Sakura got Sage then its most likely Sasuke would get it too; even though hes way over himself and probably going to revert back to his 'evil' self like Madara did.

Oro lacked a body that could handle the sage mode ability (he could use senjutsu chakra and store it in seals though).
I wont exclude the possibility that Sasuke gets Sage mode(he was compatible with Juugo curse seal after all), but it is not needed for the story imo. Maybe he gets the Juugo type of form though (having Juugo's flesh in his chest).

But you dont know what changes the seal does, or sakura have made to the seal, maybe she strengthening her chakra system,building bigger and stronger reserves (working out her chakra network), and or maybe she is storing natural energy as well and is finding a way to metabolize it in to her regular chakra.
