Truth is, Sakura really took a beating in this chapter, like she has been for a while now. I mean her headband getting incinerated can be taken as a sign she will die soon, but I think that the headband burning might mean just the opposite. By pushing a person way down, you create potential for them to rise up. Perhaps it marks the death of her past self and we will see her true self come out, or perhaps its simply there to direct us away from her later use.
Now why do I think Sakura might serve a greater role? The reason is, to be quite honest, having Naruto/Sasuke defeat Kaguya would be...... downright boring. Every major manga seems to have some massive twist or yet undiscovered truth that makes defeating the final enemy possible. Even when the final enemy achieves total power, there seems to be a way to revert or diminish that power. Now this diminishing of power might include powerups of the good guys, but it shouldn't directly rely on it, rather it should only make achieving the final goal easier.
So my prediction, or rather my hope, is that Kaguya's defeat won't rely on brute force by Naruto and Sasuke. Rather, it will rely on a yet undiscovered truth that will make her defeat-able, something that Sakura will perhaps play a vital role in. Thoughts?
