Does anyone even understand the point im trying to make?

That the similarities between Kushina and Sakura actually works in Hinata's favor?

I caught that but.... it's kind of a moot point. I'm not trying to be a ****... but saying something is probably better then lurking when you're actually asking for a response.

Freud's idea that boys fall in love with their mothers and girls fall in love with their fathers doesn't exactly apply here.

Naruto was an orphan so he didn't really have an opportunity to imprint on his mom, and he didn't meet Kushina until much later in life, meaning he's not going to base his idea of what's appealing or unappealing to him based on his mom in anyway.

Personally, I'm a Naru/Hina fan.
This really isn't based on the manga in any way beyond the fact that i think Hinata treats Naruto better, thus he's better off with her.

If everyone knew what I ment then why did they keep saying "i think kushina was being serious when she said she wanted him to be with a girl like his mom". I never said she wasn't serious I know she really ment it.

I know she really meant it but do you really think that it is a clear foreshadowing of naruhina... even "if" it is a very subtle foreshadowing of naruhina the chance kishi going back on all those clear notions of naruto loving sakura is slim at best. dont you think it would upset the majority of readers... yes yes I know that kishi is the writer and he can do whatever he wants but that would mean pissing off a lot of people just for naruhina fans. plus i just don't think that kishi meant for people to examine the slightest misconstrued metaphor I believe that he was just talking about the obvious things hair, attitude, ect.

Thank you for actually answering! I didn't think he was doing anything based on what his mom wanted, I just saw it as humorous that she named off things that he always did the opposite of what she wanted and then she said pick a girl like your mom not a weird girl, I could just picture naruto and hinats wedding after she said that lol. You have a good point though.

Yeah you have a point I don't even like naruhina or narusaku for that matter, I was just wondering if anyone thought the same as me about it. I think narusaku is more brother sister it would seem weird to have it happen after shoving it in our faces over and over that hinata loves naruto and sakura loves sasuke even in recent manga its been shown. and thank you for answering and not just saying "no your wrong"

Also it would demand a lot of suspicion/doubt.. and kishi has never to my knowledge built up that that suspicion in the anime or magna the suspicion only occurres in naruto base or whatever site as a theme. meaning that its only us trying to find that link in our head because we have seen naruhina theme so many times in the fourms its kinda embedded in us if you know what i mean. kishi has never even slightly hinted naruhina... just that hinata loves naruto, naruto loves sakura, and sakura loves saske>naruto.

Dude wtf,.i said the exact same thing on a different post o_o and I said it might've been a coincidence. but yeah anyway it is. pretty weird how Naruto ended up making the oppossite choice of what his mother saidt anyway this is what I said. Um I admit kushina is similar to sakura but that doesnt mean narusaku has more of a chance of happening. 1st Naruto and Minato were pretty different from eachother except for the fact that they both dreamed of becoming hokage. Minato was calm, cool, collected (kushina thought of him as a flakey wimp). He was mostly like sasuke except he wasn't a jerk. From the anime it also seemed he was pretty romantic too . Plus he didn't have to put up with the crap Naruto had to go through as a kid. Another reason is that Minato and Kushina didn't have any other love intrests. There was no uchiha badboy kushina was crushing on and there wasn't a shy hyuuga girl that had feelings for Minato. Lastly, this just may be a coincidence, but when Kushina was giving Naruto advice about how to behave and what to do, he seemed to grow up doing the opposite. She told him to eat his vegetables. Well obviously that didn't work since all he eats his ramen and junk food. Use her catch phrase. He uses dattebayo instead. She didn't want him to take after her agressive trait of hitting people. Yeah right. She said to pick a girl like her and not someone weird. Guess who Naruto called a dark weirdo in part one

Haha really! i've only been on naruto base for a couple of days so I didn't copy you I promise, iam glad someone thinks the same as me plus kakashi says you have to look underneath the underneath right? so thats what im trying to do lol. Its funny we also thought the samething about naruto and minato being different, I thought to myself sakura is like kushina and minatio is serious and kushina said he was a pretty boy it reminds me of sasuke, I can't believe we thought exactly the same!

but i cant really remember if there were any hints about itachi being a good guy so I might go double check if there were any hints.

there also fundamentally different tho because learning about itachi connected pieces of info togher about events and stuff meaning it was kinda necessary unlike randomly changing somthing just for pure shock value.

I went back once to look but I only looked a little bit, one thing I noticed is when kisame was talking about itachi killing his clan (the time itachi put sasuke in the hospital) itachi's eyes were shaded usually when there eyes are shaded their upset, I thought that was kind of a hint when I saw it. A small one but it seemed like a hint to me

First of all the last picture is a fan made one.
Second Sakura loves sasuke. She even rejected that guy's confession because loves sasuke. Also one of those pictures was during the fake confession of sakura. JUst because Sakura is a main character doesn't mean she will end up with naruto.

my view to the situation=

Kushina didn't like Minato at the begin, while Minato loved/liked her from the start.
Reason why Kushina didn't like Minato(at begin: quiet, shy, weird) was: flaky, girly-boy.(weird)
Which gives you an idea what her first choice was. An opposite person of Minato
But later Minato showed a side of him what made her fall in love with him.

Naruto didn't/doesn't(dunno whats it nowadays) like Hinata, while Hinata loved/liked him from the start
Reason why Naruto didn't like Hinata(at begin: quiet, shy, weird) was: flaky, weird
Which showed you his first choice:Sakura, and what is the opposite of it: Hinata
