Dude,there is an outline of a shadowy figure behind the tree - we can see hair.Who's hair is that? Could it be the person who just mentioned him?

Considering that Salad was talking with Sakura and the scene turned right to what Sasuke was doing at that moment, it can't be Salad. She's at home, miles away from where ever Sasuke is. That outline you're referring to is just the shadow made by other trees in the forest. If there was a noise made, there would have been kanji on the panel.

That scene was to show Sasuke reminiscing about something. Given that it's a forest, probably Taka/Orochimaru or something along those lines. Nothing is actually there, he even admits that it's just his imagination.

Maybe they talk via Skype.

In pt1, they have giant motherboards and old cameras during the Forest of Death portion of the Chuunin Exams. And messenger birds.

End of the series- they have laptops, skyscrapers, and drink coffee while browsing the web.

699 had 1990s like technology... ch 700 had 2014 level technology. That improvement within 12 yrs tho. Lol

ok, this is the last I'm gonna refer to this. the 2nd image on the left on the photo you refer to is not of salad. It is of the back of sasuke's head. he has a thought bubble with ..... on that panel. there isn't anyone following him secretly or imaginatively. if that wash't the outline/shadow/hair you were referring to then you're seeing imaginary outlines/shadows/hairs.

sigh...this is what happens when the author rushes the ending...everyone creates fan fiction in their minds to make up for it...granted the manga for me ended at 698 so i can't exclude myself from that...

One that appeals to the other portion of the fanbase that was dissatisfied with the ending we got like how a lot of other manga/anime's as well as other franchises in general have done in the past (Examples being Future Diary and Hellsing's OVA: Hellsing Ultimate!). An alternate ending that is longer and less rushed would be nice. Btw, when it comes to an alt. ending to Naruto, it goes way beyond the pairings, I'm thinking more about final dialogue scenes with Orochimaru and Kabuto, the tailed beasts (especially Kurama with Naruto) and Killer B having a conversation with Naruto at the very least. So there you have that.

When Salad came home after watching Bolt pull a prank, she talked to Sakura about Bolt,and she said,"he and i do have some things in common" then in the next panel we see Sasuke,and in Salads speech bubble it says,"Atleast when it comes to Papa" then on the next page we see Sasuke in the woods and Salad watching him from the shadows.

The fact that we sew Salad following Sasuke in the woods shows that he geos home.

Bolt pulls pranks in order to get Naruto's attention,and Salad follows Sasuke in order to see him more - that's what they have in common,they both do things in order to see their Dad more.

Naruto and Sasuke are both making the same mistake.They both don't spend enough time with their kids,because they're busy.

I was agreeing with you that Salad was following Sasuke but kept wondering what hair you were talking about........I thought it was obvious that that was Sasuke's hair.

I think Salad is the figure in the yellow circle. I think that shadow looks less spread out than the others and kind of like a figure peeking from behind a tree.....and if you zoom in you kind of see a little hand touching the tree.

It's pretty clear Sasuke cares about reviving the clan, so that's quite some people...And just because he doesn't say "I love you", doesn't mean he doesn't and you shouldn't assume he doesn't just based off of this small factor.
