The main problem with Sakura's character is that she has little to no connections to any of the main villains-with the exception of Sasuke. The greater the connections you have with villains, the more chance you have of having a role in their defeats. And let's face it, a lot of character development in the is manga occurs through fights. Most of her good feats happen on the sidelines(healing) which is great, but for one of the main characters, her development is lacking. That, and her somewhat unhealthy obsession with Sasuke are the main problems with her. I will give her credit though-for someone not from the Sages bloodline/any clan she's incredibly strong and useful.

This is why I say she should have been made a Senju. Kishimoto decided in part two that that's all that mattered anyways.Them and the Uchiha. Screw properly developing the Hyuga clan, who cares about some clan that's been said to be the strongest in the Leaf and be related to the Uchiha? Screw properly developing the Uzumaki clan, who cares of it's the main character's own clan?

Actually, you're wrong.

In part 1 Sakura:
-was useless
-barely could defend herself
-mocked Naruto for being alone and treated him badly
-fangirled over Sasuke

Part 2 Sakura:
-became Tsunade's disciple
-one of the best medical ninjas
-defeated an Akatsuki member with 15 years old
-saved countless lives with her skills
-started to care for Naruto and to support his dream, not to mention that she saved his life and even defended him during the Kage Summit, when Sasuke tried to kill all the Team 7 members
-her fangirlism became a selfless love for Sasuke, even Kakashi stated that her goal was to save him from darkness

If this isn't some development, I really don't know what it is. I fail to see how "terrible" she is.

Sakura sucks overall and I don't understand how you people failed to realize it

Replied on bold and italic.

I am not afraid to accept her mistakes and fails, I don't have to say they are plotholes or that I was just kidding.

Sakura is a trained Shinobi. The fact that she was afriad to get her hands dirty by stabbing the eye is pathetic.

Good for you. Just thought I'd show you some of the reasons why no one gives two ****s about the good things Sakura has done, because all these flops and fails overshadow it all.

This.

Also she seemed to have no problem ripping open Naruto's chest. You'd think a medic would find such things normal, and thus would not hesitate, especially when having the knowledge that if said eye isn't stabbed, the world could be ruined.

This is a great answer. Shows how much Kishi cared about her character. Lol

You know the real reason why?

Because he's a cry baby for Rin? Lol Naw, just kidding.

No tell me.

Like I said its natural to dislike her character while its unnatural to like her character when the creator himself did not give a shit.

Honestly, because it find him to be the most relatable character, at least for me. Personally, I was reading his arc while I was severely depressed, and realized that I could understand his motivations, since I too was once a happy idealistic kid, before becoming depressed and nihilistic. And, funny enough, by the story time frame, when I started coming out of my depression was when he was redeemed in the story, it's a funny coincidence because that meant he always stayed a relatable character for me!

How does saying that Sakura was abandoned by Sasuke/couldn't keep him around equal me being all those things you claimed I was? He clearly left her after smashing her. He went on a journey in 699, returned to Konoha in THE LAST, then in 700, is still seen travelling. Meaning it must have been after THE LAST, and was a one night stand at that.

So basically he reminded you of yourself. Interesting reasoning.

Kishimoto has even said that he created Sakura to be annoying to the readers. Of course, a lot of stories have characters that start off like this, but Kishi never gave Sakura any development to change that annoying factor.

She went from

Chunnin exams "I'm so useless and Sasuke doesn't love me boo hoo"

to

VS Kaguya "I'm so useless and Sasuke doesn't love me boo hoo"

Lol Dude in the whole war arc she was trying to impress him.
