Its just kishi teasing the pairing thing like he always does and the only people that ever buy into it are the ones who ship the pairings and thats algood but i think most people dont really care about it that much, Thats just my opinion

I've heard that Kishi likes curtain couples like SasuSaku and all..
He's just jumping back and forth, because if he officially chooses a character couple, he gon loose a chunk of fandom. OOHHH

Best of dropping hints and whatnot but not making any one couple canon - it doesn't really seem nessessary, tbh. It's not absolutely vital to the plot of Naruto for us to know who he finally ends up with, or if Sasuke ends up with anyone at all either.
