You can do the what if game all day honestly. A bigger what if is what if she didn't jump down there? Oh yeah just let pain capture the nine tails that's a good plan or hope Shikaku and Inoichi found pain in time. While it may not of been smart this there was no time for complex plans at this point the hokage was out at this point and everyone was relying on Naruto. And when naruto goes down what then we sit and watch o.o wah!!!

Lets look at Sakura's plan though I am going to use my teams mates to find Sasuke and in term i am going to use Naruto's feelings for me to get him to act the way i want. And what does she have to show for all this effort she failed to kill Sasuke 2 or 3 times, you left your team expose to being captured or killed (I tobi was right there), you had to be saved twice and you poison Naruto. Sakura's plan put risks on everyone, where if she was actually going to do something so selfish it should of been her alone. How did Hinata jumping down there effect the whole village, it effected her and her alone? That whole operation of Sakura's was my finally straw for Sakura and while i cant say i hate her i just don't like her.

Simply put...she put Naruto in the friend zone.

Basically she deserves death until she redeems herself for that vile crime.
"Put" is saying it lightly lmao. But nah she doesn't deserve death. I wouldn't go that far.

I will say that she did deserve to die on multiple occasions during the team 7 reunion though.

I have to agree with you. I know there are some cultural differences between the way young Japanese people approach courtship compared to the way young Americans or young Europeans approach it. That's why some of the stuff Sakura does (the hitting and yelling and similar stuff) seems so out of place to non-Japanese audiences. However, even considering the cultural differences the way Sakura has treated Naruto throughout the series is disrespectful at best. There were only a handful of times when Sakura ever showed any genuine respect for Naruto, or trust in his abilities. Other times she's completely miserable towards him, and there's no reason for it.

The only excuse I think we can make is that Sakura does not love Naruto the way he loves her, so she acts horrible towards him to avoid leading him on. That's fine, I suppose, but wouldn't it be easier to have a real conversation with him like she did after Sasuke's attack on the Kage meeting, and tell him her real thoughts (at that conversation, she lied to him in a very cold way). If Naruto really does shack up with Hinata in the end, and if Sasuke isn't redeemed, I hope Sakura lives a long, sad, lonely life.

Wowow

Look, when Sakura usually act "mean" or "rough him up", it just tough love or Tsun-dere or something like that.

Its primary for comedy relief. Not to be taken seriously plot wise lmao.

Sakura still loves Sasuke,She still sees in Her minds Eye old Sasuke the boy,the boy that thank Her for Her Help in team 7, but She refuses to see the evolving Sasuke who sees only righting the wrong done to His parents and His clan not only by His Brother but anybody who never lifted Their Hand to stop the Massacre of the Uchiha Clan, to Sasuke everybody that did not raise an objection is guilty of the Uchiha massacre. That means to Sasuke Her parents too. Sakura has no clue of what to do. Instead of offering Sasuke a bright future to believe in She is placing all Her hopes of Sasuke being Hers on Naruto's shoulders. Wake up Sakura if you want Sasuke only you can get Him.

You know Whiteknight,

Before I started reading all these posts, I actually felt EXACTLY the way you stated in your comment. Naruto goes out of his way for her affections, and all she gives in return are an impossible task (Sasuke as stated by Sai to her), general disrespect (her attitude is no way is heck she would EVER fall for someone like Naruto or his childish behavior), and overall lack of concern as compared to Sasuke. This is a guy that would be a "catch" to ANYONE else in the village (Heck Ino even stated that she was "interested" after he defeated Pain and became the "hero of the leaf")! I agree with you but I am not sure if I would wish ill will like her leading a long, sad and lonely life though. I didn't mean this thread to actually go this much into the "hate" honestly and just wanted my opinion on Sakura to be known.

There are decent members who give respectable views on why they don't like her, the rest do it just to try and gain cool points. I know an anime/manga character even more hated than her.
I don't like her because she barely developed at all after the Sasori fight, I thought that she was going to become a boss character but now all she does is cry and screw over missions instead of gaining powerups like most of Konoha 11 is doing.
