And what if Minato wasn't there?Hinata didn't have a great plan either but at least she was willing to go through with it. In the end it sparked the Kyuubi transformation which allowed Naruto to get out of the Chibaku Tensei and meet Minato.

"Put" is saying it lightly lmao. But nah she doesn't deserve death. I wouldn't go that far.Simply put...she put Naruto in the friend zone.
Basically she deserves death until she redeems herself for that vile crime.
WowowI have to agree with you. I know there are some cultural differences between the way young Japanese people approach courtship compared to the way young Americans or young Europeans approach it. That's why some of the stuff Sakura does (the hitting and yelling and similar stuff) seems so out of place to non-Japanese audiences. However, even considering the cultural differences the way Sakura has treated Naruto throughout the series is disrespectful at best. There were only a handful of times when Sakura ever showed any genuine respect for Naruto, or trust in his abilities. Other times she's completely miserable towards him, and there's no reason for it.
The only excuse I think we can make is that Sakura does not love Naruto the way he loves her, so she acts horrible towards him to avoid leading him on. That's fine, I suppose, but wouldn't it be easier to have a real conversation with him like she did after Sasuke's attack on the Kage meeting, and tell him her real thoughts (at that conversation, she lied to him in a very cold way). If Naruto really does shack up with Hinata in the end, and if Sasuke isn't redeemed, I hope Sakura lives a long, sad, lonely life.

Boy did it go deep, it was fun but boy did it go deep. lmaoYou know Whiteknight,
Before I started reading all these posts, I actually felt EXACTLY the way you stated in your comment. Naruto goes out of his way for her affections, and all she gives in return are an impossible task (Sasuke as stated by Sai to her), general disrespect (her attitude is no way is heck she would EVER fall for someone like Naruto or his childish behavior), and overall lack of concern as compared to Sasuke. This is a guy that would be a "catch" to ANYONE else in the village (Heck Ino even stated that she was "interested" after he defeated Pain and became the "hero of the leaf")! I agree with you but I am not sure if I would wish ill will like her leading a long, sad and lonely life though. I didn't mean this thread to actually go this much into the "hate" honestly and just wanted my opinion on Sakura to be known.
I don't like her because she barely developed at all after the Sasori fight, I thought that she was going to become a boss character but now all she does is cry and screw over missions instead of gaining powerups like most of Konoha 11 is doing. There are decent members who give respectable views on why they don't like her, the rest do it just to try and gain cool points. I know an anime/manga character even more hated than her.
