I also suspect something like that. Slugs seem virtually immortal. Actually slugs is not good to say lol, cause is only one who has survived hundreds of years, unlike the frogs who have generations and such.
IMO, probably that's what the SSM will offer...the similarities of Slug abilities, thus, making Sakura highly resistant and virtually immortal like her master, but to a greater degree.

Well you might doubt it, it's your choice but you know the theme with the previous generation surpassing the old. Sakura will surpass her master as well.
As for chakra gathering, she doesn't need to do it with handseals... THat's what the Byakugo seal is for. It stores/gathers chakra itself.
Yes, we did. When Kabuto showcased Sage mode, not before. So, sorry, your argument is indeed invalid to the subject in cause.

Your reasoning is invalid, yes we did saw snake cave did we see slug cave?? no, did tsunade even hint once of it? no, Kabuto and orochimaru hinted of it by discussing natural discovery and before? Yes,
when kabuto first began to fight sasuke we saw his sage mode looks, we didn't see anything from tsunade nor sakura. and to make a thread of sakura clasping her hands may mean sage mode

It seems unlikely to me, if only for the Sannin to still be recognizable as respectable shinobi.
They may be past their prime, but Orochimaru was overcome by Sasuke (Age 16), Naruto (16) surpassed Jiraiya's mastery of Sage Mode (His trump card in a fight) and Sakura, as we all know, recently acquired the Byakugou. But if Sakura, at 16, BOTH mastered chakra control AND medical jutsu to a level rivalling or even surpassing Tsunade, AND mastered Sage Mode... Well. The Sannin were formidable in part 1, but if all it takes to beat them is 3 years of hard work, I will be pretty pissed.

As much as I would love for it to be Sage mode, I don't think that's actually a different hand sign. Notice that when she does her healing seals, her ring fingers are still raised up even if they are bent. The speech bubble blocks that finger, so while it may be Sage mode's seals- it's just as likely it is still healing seals.
That being said, I didn't see any slugs at all among the Forces, which I would assume means they are fully healed, so I'm hoping you're right.
Well, it would be three years of hard work under the tutelage of said Sannin. So the disciples would learn the jutsus that only the Sannin had previously mastered, and simply by being able to master them they have proven themselves superiors (at least in some ways) to their peers.

And even if she goes sage mode.... i doubt she would be of any use cause Juubito atm is having the upper hand in a battle with the Hokages and KCM Naruto and Sasuke ... so i doubt she could be much of use in the battle field.

I still don't think it's even possible for sakura to even enter sage mode, even with byakugou. Number one requirement for sage mode is to have massive amounts of chakra, to offset the massive amount of nature chakra you need to take in to use sage mode. Even with byakugou, do you think she has the same amount of chakra as naruto, or jiraiya? I personally don't. Plus I'm not sure if the chakra in the byakugou seal would even count as chakra needed to balance out nature. Basically the chakra is in a seal, that she can draw from, but it's not part of her internal chakra circulatory system anymore really, which is what mixes with nature chakra. even though she has that chakra stored up, it's in a separate part of her body, it's not adding to her basic chakra circulatory system, which is what nature chakra mixes with.
Also, naruto doesn't do any hand seals or clapping when he gathers chakra for sage mode, look at when he was gathering chakra to use sage mode in the fight against madara, the one with gaara when madara reveals his rinnegan. Naruto is just sitting there, with his hands in a thinking position, Kind of like shikamarus hands when he thinks. Ever since orochimaru mentioned shikkotsu forest i cant get the idea of sakura slug sage mode out of my head.

Also i did a thread about slug sage mode but it was short with no explaination or manga scans . Because i know they will deny it .

This is a thread I have made last year about the possibility of SSM. SO following the animal trinity, it's only normal that the SM upcoming is the Slug's one.
And now, I'd like to point something a friend of mine has posted...
That handseal has shown itself twice now when Tsunade was in the process of performing some unspecified jutsu when Madara was attempting to have Susanoo strike its sword down at the Kages and when Kabuto was entering Sage Mode.

So, it might be indeed the upcoming SM.
I am not saying it is definitely, I am saying it's a possibility. And if some of you would get past your preferences of characters, you'd see the possibility. Just like it was with the seal...
