Sakura and Tsunade are Legitimately Powerful

Hear me out...

Sakura gets a bad rap for her irrational personality, but as far as abilities go, she and Tsunade are bonafide elite ninja. They are extremely difficult to injure, and they deal enormous amounts of damage, with huge amounts of stamina. Their moves might not be flashy, but they are the strongest Kunoichi the series has to offer.

Another misconception is that they are somehow slow. While they’re not speedsters by any stretch, they’ve never been portrayed as slower than ninja like Shikamaru or even Base Jiraiya. Sakura in particular generally should be perceived as a higher tier of speed, at least Pain Arc Naruto’s level, seeing as she was able to even participate in battle against Madara and Kaguya.

In my opinion, they simply suffer from Kishimoto’s damsel in distress fetish, but that’s not a testament to their strength.

It took multiple characters dying, a timeskip and several quick power ups in the later stages of the series just for Sakura to crack the top 15 (Alive).

They are only worthy of anything due to their ability to heal. If Tsunade and Sakura could not heal, they would be worthless and have nothing else to fall back on.

They are the strongest healers in the series and that’s not saying much given no one in the series needs to be able to survive being impaled, stabbed or bisected to land a blow.

Hidan is in the same boat as Tsunade and Sakura, but at the very least that’s his main form of damage. Self-Harm.

Naruto who uses like 3 Jutsu while sitting behind a desk managed to learn doton. And you’re telling me a 33 year old Sakura still only knows how to punch? Didn’t develop a taijutsu based on CES or any nature realeses?

That’s garbage.

Tsunade gets a pass because she invented the seal and retired long ago and at least has a raiton based attack.

Sakura is apparently a active shinobi and a jonin despite not knowing anything other than healing, CES and summoning.

Does it really matter? Regardless of Sakuras proficiency in other areas, she's still extremely effective in her main Forte and she's still a force to be reckoned with depending on the match up.

Plus with Sakura chakra control capabilities it wouldn't even be hard for her to learn to jutsu either

Her main forte relies on her taking mortal damage a majority of the time. Look at how she fought Sasori and Madara. She even self admitted that’s what she’s good for when she’s out of her depth. Diving on her opponent and hoping she lands a hit.

Naruto has a healing factor and superior durability in sage mode but you don’t see him willingly taking hits like that. Her fighting style is stupid and only works because she has nothing else going for her. Which is why Sarada is a good example of what CES can do when you aren’t shit in every other degree.

She’s a force to be reckoned with Depending on the matchup only means she has to fight below or on her own tier. That or get surprise attacks like against shin.

I’m sure you’re a force to be reckoned with against a elderly man in a fist fight since it’s dependent upon the opponent.


I’m not saying she can’t learn. I’m saying she hasn’t. It’s been close to a decade and if a guy who bread and butter is using clones of himself and throwing nukes can incorporate doton and other Kitsu into his arsenal while sitting behind a desk for close to 6 years. Sakura has little excuse.

She’s well versed in poisons and drugs that incapacitates others. Neither are used.

She has genjutsu potential. Hasn’t been brought up since The Last

Every member of the Shinobi Alliance has Earth Wall in their arsenal. I can’t for the life of me understand why we keep bringing that up as a Naruto feat.

Sakura is faster than Tsunade, and stronger as well. Tsunade has her ration specialized technique. Sakura also has been shown using her poison skills on several occasions, unfortunately, it begins to be slightly useless with higher tier characters. She also has her own poison extraction jutsu.

Of course they’re not the strongest characters alive, but they are stronger than the likes of Mei, Konan, and Temari.
