1. Sakura's fighting style is what exactly? smashing the ground? footspeed is a great factor as it allows him to react to her large scale punches.

3. Sakura's fighting style doesn't complement Shika's shadows at all, her punches destroy the ground and Shikamaru will also get caught in the punch if she's not careful.

They lack the abilty to surprise Neji as i said before, Neji's feats out class Sakura's feats and Shikamaru. I don't see no reason why Neji can't blitz them, his databook score in speed is already high.

1. Srsly? Neji has shown the ability to multitask even in P1. He blocks Sakura's points with Juuken and there goes her chakra enhanced strength, and as such her usefulness in this fight.

Once Sakura's Tenketsu are blocked she's no longer an issue, and Neji is able to focus on Shikamaru. As Tim said, Sakura's fighting style is actually detrimental to Shikamaru.
