Sakura and Ino... Friends?

Well, we all know that Sakura and Ino were friends in their earlier days of the academy. Then they became rivals to get the attention of the Sauce (Sasuke), after their "fight" at the Chunnin Exams they became a little bit friendlier with one another, but still maintained that rival mentality.

So, since Sasuke has been gone from the village for about 3 years, do you think they are closer as friends now?

Keep in mind this all started over Sasuke.

there friends though, if it hadnt been for ino, sakura would still be called big forehead...so sakura obviously would never forget about ino

I don't really see any communication between them as if they are just indifferent towards each other now.

They don't show it in the anime or manga much in Shippuden, but they are good friends

Yes. They used to be friendly rivals, but now they're just friends. No more rivalry really.
