Kidomaru is more intelligent than Sai according to both feats and the databook, he wont be fooled as easily as you may think. He's sensed and countered several flanks in canon from multiple opponents.
I agree in regards to Shippuden as a whole, however a quick look at the databook shows that these two really arent very far apart in early Shippuden. I personally think this fight could go either way and that Sai could definitely win, but I feel as if Kidomaru is being underrated. With superior stamina and intelligence (and only a minor handicap in speed), Kidomaru certainly has a chance at victory.

Due to Shippuden's upscale in power, the 3rd Databook dwarfs those of the 2nd, simply because one is the original, and the other is Shippuden. I've no real knowledge on either's feats truthfully. Lol but it is that easy if he has no counters for sai's ability. Only reason he last as long as he did with neji because the latter was close range fighter who lost LoS forcing him to remain on the defense repelling the spiders. Sai simply needs rat mimicry to locate then fly over, shunshin or dig under to his location then get rid of him with beast mimicry. If kido tries to dip then sai will bind him momentarily with the very rats he used to track him. Lol no. Slight adv Intelligence =/= immunity.
lemme reread the chap.if he can use it that way he surely has more advantage than kido since he can just stay out of range and locate him
You truly make it seem like Sai will be the only one attacking while Kidomaru is just standing still. No. I made it perfectly clear in the OP that Kidomaru will take this seriously, he'll be pursuing Sai as much as Sai will be pursuing him. The difference being, Kidomaru thrives in this location while Sai is at a hindrance. You say that Kidomaru has no answer to Sai's abilities, but what are Sai's answers to (near) unbreakable webs and insanely accurate projectiles?
