Sage over hyped

So I believe the sage of 6 paths is greatly exaggerated and I have good reasons why.

1) as the founder of chakra and jutsu his arsenal couldn't be that much. It could be that he didn't know about the 6 basic natures and I'm positive he couldn't have known most of the kkg and no kekkei tota.

2) he's a myth/legend and they are always overrated

3) his only competition was a wild animal who went on a rampage. Shikamaru could stop the beast if he had time to formulate a plan so the fact the sage stop it is only mildly impressive.

4) his greatest splitting the jubi into the tail beast and creating the moon but I think any ninja could do that if they had the rinnegun

He split the juubi, as an already weakened old man. The tailed beast extraction should have weakened him even farther, thus moving him even farther away from his prime. And even then he was able to create a chibaku tensei strong enough to pull 1/5 of the earth away into space, without the help of the juubi.

( moon is roughly 1/4 of The earth, 4 equal parts of the earth + 1 extra equal part = 5 equal parts)

So his prime + being the Jin of the juubi would make him god like.

1. No, Shikamaru cannot just stop anything he wants with his shadows. With enough strength and resistance, any entity can overcome Kage Mane no Jutsu.
2. No. Nagato had an Uzumaki body and the Rinngean. The most he could do with Chibaku Tensei was create a giant spherical boulder.

He was strong enough to seal the Ten-Tails' inside of him and be able to survive with its "almost infinite chakra" inside him. Minato couldn't even seal half the Kyuubi's chakra inside of him.

He split the Juubi into parts and turned its body to moon in his weakest stage: old age.

He has Rinnegan, so he can use the Six Paths jutsus.

The Rinnegan allows him to be able to use the five basic nature transformations.

He can control the Bijuu's because he is very close to/created them through the body of the Juubi.

Like I said him beating the juubi to me is only mildly impressive. I believe shikamaru could do it
