Sage mode

I was thinking, are the toads the only summoning animal that are able to teach sage art?

Or do you think there are other animals that teach a different type of art or fighting style besides frog kumite?

I would assume so.....that's a really good question. It's weird how even though all three legendary Sannin (Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade) all head three interlocking animal summons.....Jiraiya only gets notoriety as a Sage. I think they just give the Toads a spotlight for now and may expand on that aspect in the future...

Well Nature energy can't be unique to toads, nor would being able to utilize it. However I always thought the most bizarre aspect of sage training is it gave you frog like features. This was even the case with one of Pain's bodies so it can't easily be dismissed by saying "Oh you know, it depends on your summoning contract or something". Looking like a frog and being part of nature, or being turned into a statue because a statue is even closer to being part of nature.. Yeah all that stuff never made any sense anyways.

Yh, i was thinking naruto cannot be the only sage in the entire ninja world. There has to be others that have managed to control nature energy to some extent

Nice Question. I think that not only the toads have some sort of Sage Mode technique. Each summoned animal have unique technique i guess.. just like orochimaru, he can summon snakes, he managed to transform his body to some kind of snake body. Hehe.. just saying..

i think you may be correct, but if naruto was to fight sasuke in sage mode he would kill him maybe sasuke has the ability to go snake sage, but its a long shot

Maybe the unique technique you get from snakes is where you are able to slide out of your current body. Orochi did it on several occasions and sasuke did it vs itachi.
