I'm sorry but the prep argument is garbage. That's like saying Minato can't use FTG in battle because it takes hours to draw put and place sealing tags on all one thousand or whatever number of kunais he has. That's pure bogus. We have already seen in the manga that you only need to do the prep once, after that, you can summon and unsummon the edo as many times as you like. We saw Kabuto whoop out his edo's in an instant when he blackmailed Tobi to let him join Akatsuki, why, because he already made the edos. There's no prep time required for it in battle, coz that's something you do once.
