Sage Mode and Mangekyou Sharingan are Equal

I don't see how SM can compare to MS. It just doesn't add up. We have to remember something here. Naruto came to the conclusion that he would not be able to defeat Sasuke after "reading" him after the Danzo battle. He said that Sasuke was simply on another level of power. This was before he got the EMS. I guess Kishi was implying that SM is no match for the MS.

Ok, EMS... Does that make you feel better about it?

After all, Madara had EMS when he controlled Kurama... And could use Susano, which seems to be as powerfull as the Biju form... The only thing BM has, that EMS (talking about both eyes) does not, is TBB, and Amateratsu/Tsukoyomi/Kotoamatsukami/Kamui are more than enouph to fill the spot... U_U

Very good points , +rep but Naruto fought 3rd raikage not 4th and Uchihas are all supposed to have POWERFUL chakra , it doesn't mean they have no stamina U_U

-Biju Mode is equal to the MS/EMS (since we have seen nothing more in the EMS, I'll assume it merelly grants the user no-blinding effect for now).

-Dust release is equal to the EMS...

-Wood Release (Hashirama scale) is Equal to the EMS

... But, no, Sage Mode is a good ability, but it does not grant you nearly as much as an MS/EMS... U_U

i dont agree because sage mode and ms are completely different, there are to many variables that make the powers uncomparable, for example, sage mode is very high powered but only lasts for a limited time, whereas the mangekyo lasts as long as the users chakra lasts. The mangekyo upgrades genjutsu, ninjutsu and taijutsu to a certain degree. Whereas sage mode only upgrades ninjutsu and taijutsu, although if the user already had some genjutsu ability it would increase its power.

Yes admittingly if both were pitted against eachother and timed with complete accuracy they could be equally matched, but the likelyhood of that happening is very small

Both can help when fighting and both have there own unique jutsu's but based on what we've seen so far, Amaterasu, Susanoo & Tsukuyomi > Sage jutsu's.

Itachi > jaraiya because itachi raped orochimaru in a minute and a half and jaraiya=orochimaru. Itachi knew not to fight jaraiya because he would have to use ms and that would be stupid seeing that the whole point secretly was just to see sasuke in which he did.

In naruto world, things doesn't seem like you think. Just because A can beat B and B can beat C doesn't mean A is the strongest..

only because i say that is because we havent really seen what jirayia is truly capable of which i guess isnt fair to say itachi>jirayia so i can change my mind when it comes to itachi and jman its hard to choose im not going to argue only because we havent seen the true potential of jman and his arsenal.

He did not admit that Sasuke was stronger.... Find me the page where he says that. I remember him saying if they were to fight that they would both die and I also remember Zetsu telling Sasuke that he thought Naruto was stronger than him now but not the other way around.... Anyways, I believe that Jiraiya and Itachi were about equal only problem is that Jiraiya takes a bit of time to get into sage mode where Itachi can activate his MS quickly.

At that moment Sasuke>Naruto. Like I said though, Naruto could have beaten Sasuke in that situation because Sasuke was out of chakra, but the battle would have been Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi vs Sasuke, Zetsu, and Tobi. Needless to say, it would have been a very ugly battle

So with this being said by Naruto, I would say MS>SM

As for who's stronger between Itachi and Jiraiya? I have no idea and I'd rather not comment on it, it's already caused quite an uproar in this thread

Sm=ms??!? 0_o i can't beleive everybody is debating about this lol... Sm is dependent on how powerful the user is while ms isn't... for example giving chouji sm wouldn't make him equal to ms sasuke... So the idea of ms=sm doesn't make sense to me... Hope i made sense

This was after the Pain fight , I know it says probably but for me it was a hint that naruto was slightly stronger there.
Sasuke already had MS sharingan there , we didnt saw him using his susannoo arrows tho.

Yeah, here it insinuates that Naruto as an entity was slightly stronger than Sasuke; not that SM > MS. Either way, Sasuke at that moment didn't have adequate mastery over the MS so when he fought Danzo that filled the power gap between the two. Thus meaning MS most likely is stronger than Naruto's SM.

saying sm>ms isn't 100% correct, i think it depends who goes into it because sm amplifies the users jutsus and grants a few new abilities that the user couldn't do normally. naruto in sm is equal or greater than ms imo if naruto could handle pain pretty well(who was using the rinnegan)

Unlike Jiraiya, Naruto has perfected the Sagemode. Furhtermore Naruto by himself said that he couldn't beat Sasuke on his current level (when they meet him and Tobi after the fight against Danzo). So it's obvious that the MS is better.
