Rue from Hunger Games (book, though movie was fine)

Neji from Naruto (due to how badly executed it was)

Jan Valjan from The Miserables

There are some others but they are either written in my native language and probably have not been translated to English or i forgot.

Maria and Mamoru's death from Shinsekai Yori. The fact that they were main characters and the author decided to let us know they died but did not show how it happened was too gut wrenching! Their bodies were never even shown again :T_T: A-And it turned out the killers killed them the moment their child was born? Their off screen death was torture for me :T_T:
