I'm really suprised that so many people tried to argue with you. You showed them undisputable proof. Amaterasu is a projectile. Period. It does not instantly pop up at a focal point. It forms very quickly right infront of the intended target, then it proceeds to move in for the attack (aka converging at the focal point).
Bottomline, if Amaterasu wasn't a projectile and didn't move, then Amaterasu wouldn't have hit the Samurai that were standing behind A when he dodged it, it would've just kept burning where A was standing since Sasuke was focusing on A's position, not what was behind him. This is also the reason Gaara's sand could dodge it. If Amaterasu instantly spawned right on the opponents, then it would've spawned behind Gaara's sand, yet his sand was actually able to move in the way and block the fire. That proves that Amaterasu actually moves toward the target. +rep. Some people just will ignore facts. I can understand having doubts but there is really nothing more clear cut than your explanation
