Ryuu is 6 ft tall, has red eyes and medium or long, blood-red hair. Due to some different lighting, his hair sometimes appears black. He has one ring earring in each of his ears and a three large diagonal scars across his chest from the right to the left.
He wears black boots and dark blue jeans. He sometimes wears white shirts or shirts with a black leather jacket. He has black fingerless gloves which he takes off when he's going to kick someone ass.

When traveling he wears a black cloak.
He has 2 swords. They are each strapped to his waist with a belt. Each belt passes over each other in a line on his waist.
Personality:
He has a bit of a split personality: Normally he's mischievous and likes to play pranks and not obey the law. When fighting though he changes dramatically. He loves to battle, and ends up killing his opponent.
Nonetheless the situation he is, he always remains calm and serious, he never underestimates his opponents.
When someone says or does something that really pisses him off, the look in his eyes changes to that of a demon. This gave him the name of being The Demonic-Swordsman. At the point that happens he losses control and kills anything in his way. In this state his strength, speed and stamina reach to unimaginable levels.
During everyday life he also tends to hit on cute women. He has his eye on one but she sees him as a friend. That will change one day.
He is rather gentlemenly when he makes first impressions. He easily forgets important rules, or dates and often gets in trouble.

Background Info.
History: When Ryuu was a young boy, his heart had failed. And he needed immediate heart transplant. So his father, knowing what had to be done, gave up his own life for his son and removed his own hear from his body. The village medic carefully transplanting the heart into Ryuu. When the transplant was done Ryuu had somehow gained all the skills his father had. Being shunned from his peers for his loss of heart, he devoted his time to swordsmanship, and training. All those years allowed Ryuu to harness and control his fathers power. When in fights that were down to the last breaking point would Ryuu use his knowledge he had gained from his father, causing a surge of skill and promise.
