Ryūmizo



Ryūmizo is characterized by a combination of rocky, uneven terrain interwoven with grassland. The area was the site of a great battle; large and deep trenches have been constructed here in byzantine patterns. Craters can be found on the old battlefield, revealing the type of Ninjutsu used. A few fishing villages lie on the coast, but the inland parts of the are are sparsely populated, so a diverse number of fauna have been allowed to flourish here.

As Ryuu walked into this place, he was surprised at a large figure he could see some ways up ahead. Squinting his eyes, he looked through his Byakugan, realising that what he was seeing was this 'Cassander'. A tall creature, Ryuu felt a little intimidated at the thought of confronting it. Perhaps he would summon one of his trusty comrades as support when he got closer... And so, the boy trekked on, keeping his focus on his newly found target with every step.

Upon entering Ryūmizo, Barney was absolutely amazed. The surroundings were mesmerizing. It was safe to say that he was in love with what he saw. Large and deep trenches that have been constructed in byzantine patterns. Humongous craters and ruins of old barracks and shelters that stood still. It was obvious that a great battle happened here. Barney couldn't pass the opportunity to go out and explore the area. He was wondering how did he not notice this when he was traveling with Ralph earlier that day. It was because of his loud and annoying mouth. That must'be been it.

Barney couldn't contain his joy, like a child. He didn't know where to start. He jumped from one trench to the other, examining, looking closely at the battle scars. He realized that powerful techniques have been used in order to create such mayhem to mother nature. Where he saw sharp cuts in the ground, he knew were from wind techniques. Scarred and burnt patches of grass that wasn't growing anymore were from lightning. Completely melted rocks were definitely caused by fire. A few craters filled with water that now became swamps with greenery growing from them were obviously caused by water. Huge amounts of displaced earth, even bigger craters and weird structures, Barney assumed, were from using earth techniques. It was all so mesmerizing. He kept zapping from one part of the battlefield to the other. He would even kneel down and smell the earth, the scorched and melted rocks, the smelly ponds. They were awaking all kinds of feelings within him. However, he couldn't pinpoint any of them unfortunately. He knew that smell was a powerful memory awaking agent but nothing worked on Barney. The history that he thought he lived must've really been a dream after all. Barney was losing hope that he would ever recall his memories to their full content. Here and there he would recollect the usage of some technique and it would come to him as second nature, for example, when he helped Ralph chop down the trees or when he fought back the wolf. I don't know. As much as I loved this, there's no point in obsessing over the past. He pulled his hands down towards his crotch, opened the dark cloak and let go of a smelly stream of hot piss. He was definitely dehydrated from all the traveling. To leave his own mark, Barney wrote the letter B with his piss and then he decided to move on.
