Rumor put to rest?

Forgive my noobness but rumor has been for a while that Minato was getting his own spin off from Naruto... Anyone know for sure? And what are your thoughts on such a move?

Hes already been given a few mentions in the manga( Kakashi Gaiden arc,Discussion with the 4th hokage(during Narutos battle with the Paths of Pain),and a chapter around 503 give or take a chapter called the 4th hokage goes to war. But if your talking about the 5th Shippuden movie then from what I hear hes in it but I could be wrong.

Kishi has said in interviews that if he were to do a spin-off series it would be of Minato
