Arriving in front of a building which was now just ruins, Ryuu peered through with his Byakugan. It was very large; about the size of a stadium. Ryuu remembered this building. It used to be the place where the members of the Freehold used to work. They had all their offices and stuff in here. He knew this because sometimes his parents used to go there when he was a child, and he would come along with them. At the time, this building was not just huge, it had also been very tall. It would be fair to say that it had probably been the tallest building in the city back then. Since he used to come in here, the boy knew the approximate areas the building used to have. He used to come here and read lots of books, so it was no surprise. Luckily, he also happened to know which area the information regarding Shinobi were kept. Using his Byakugan, the Hyūga looked towards the general location where he thought they would be. Sure enough, he soon found a few rooms besides each other, containing books, papers and the like. However, they were collapsed rooms, with rubble all over them. He would have to get in via unconventional means... He did manage to spot a little clearing inside the rooms though, so he focused on that.

Looking around to make sure no one was watching him, and especially that the bandits had not come after him yet, Ryuu got closer to the building, before performing a hand seal. With this, a wide tunnel was created from in front of him, extending into the building, upto a certain location where he had desired. Quickly getting in, the boy hoped no one would notice the tunnel whilst he was doing what he needed to do. The tunnel was quite roomy, and so it did not take the boy long to arrive at his destination. Clambering out of the hole, Ryuu found himself in a large, dark room, filled with books on shelves. Except the shelves were not standing; they were on their sides, and some of the books were strewn out. Although there were some books that looked completely intact, others, that had been more exposed to the elements, were barely discernible. There was not much room to move around in this place, and so Ryuu had to crawl around the place. Good thing he was not a full grown man, for then this would have been much harder. He also noticed that the place smelt very damp. In this dim lighting, it was not exactly the nicest place to be. But he needed answers.

(Doton: Ton'neru chika no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Tunneling Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram → Dog → Rat → Bird is able to create a wide tunnel in the ground, this cannot travel through rock though or anything with a high density. The large tunnel that is created allows the user to transport others without detection.
Note: The initial entry of the technique is short range.
Grabbing the closest book to him, Ryuu flicked through the pages. Just as he thought, these were logs of Shinobi. Running through a few books at first, Ryuu noticed that they were ordered by clans. Curious, he eventually found the one for the Hyūga clan. However, just as he suspected, he did not find himself in it. He had been too young to be considered a Shinobi at the time this village still prospered. However, he did find the information on his fellow clan members, becoming a little sad as he remembered them. He quickly closed that book before he could grive too much. After a while, the boy noticed that the books in this room all contained information about recent Shinobi. He knew the person he was trying to find information on was not from recent times, given that he did not know him.

So the boy went to the next room, where he found that there was information on Shinobi which were from older times. Each subsequent room he crawled painfully into had older and older records. But how was he to know which one Cassander was in? Although this was going to be time-consuming, the boy eventually decided to use his Byakugan to peer through books without going to them, looking for keywords. Using different tactics, and almost giving up, after what seemed like several hours, Ryuu's tired eyes finally rested upon the word 'Cassander'. The weary Hyūga made his way over to the next room, which was where the book was. Although the boy loved reading, looking through so many words at once was too draining, even for him. Finally, Ryuu took the book out of the shelf. Opening it, he noticed that this book was not categorised clan-wise. Not all of them had been anyways. Rather, the first Shinobi listed was Alexandros Megas. It appeared that all the remaining Shinobi in this book then were related to him in regards to ranks. Ryuu had some knowledge on this man. Long ago, he was known for his many conquests, and he was generally seen in a positive light. Naturally, he had many soldiers, generals, and people under his command.

So when Ryuu flipped over to the next page, and found Cassander's name, he realised this man must be pretty strong. He was ranked as one of Alexandros' strongest and highest ranking generals. To think that such a man was out causing chaos right now... But Ryuu was rather confused. Why was this Cassander creating trouble? And why was he even alive right now? And numerous copies of him too? Probably clones... After a while of thinking, Ryuu realised that he must have been ressurected by someone. He had previously read about this strange power where the dead could be given life again. The question now was who had done it. This was even more of a reason for him to go and meet the dead ninja now. It seemed that the more information he learnt, the more questions he had. Was that a good thing? Perhaps...

Gazing over the papers containing Cassander's information, Ryuu noticed a section titled 'Abilities'. However, this was one of the books that was half demolished, and so not everything was visible. Furthermore, some of the ink was so bleached that it was quite difficult to make out what was written. After much squinting and deciphering, Ryuu eventually found out one of the reasons why this man had such a high rank. It appeared that the more opponents he had faced in battles during conquests, the stronger he became. This was rather strange, as people usually became less effective at fighting numerous opponents. If he could not take anything else away from his encounter with the older Shinobi later, he wanted to at least find out how the man became stronger when fighting against many. Moving on, the boy next made out two words next to each other, each starting with 'Y'. That was the letter that was the most visible as it was a little larger. After thinking about the many abilities that could start with that letter, he eventually settled on Ying-Yang. Although he could not read the exact words, this was confirmed through the number of letters that were in the words. Well, this was interesting. Someone who could use such high level abilities. He was not surprised anymore though. But he was surprised that he was still alive right now. If Cassander had wanted, he could have blown up half the world now, with all the abilities he had. Finally, Ryuu also managed to find out that the Shinobi had very strong Ninjutsu and Taijutsu skills.

However, the information cut off here, for after this, the words were completely illegible. The dim lighting did not help either. But even when he pointed the book upwards to try to get some sunlight, it was the same result. But Ryuu was satisfied; he had the information he needed. Now he knew that this was not a Shinobi of current times, but rather of old, and that he was most likely resurrected by someone. He just had to find the man and confront him, asking him who was behind all this... Putting the book back where he found it, the boy paused, before rethinking the decision. He took the book back and placed it in his little bag. Perhaps it could come of use later. Maybe it could even be more decipherable later.

After much crawling and squeezing through tight places, Ryuu finally reached the entrance to the tunnel. He found it rather ironic how the tunnel was wider than the rooms. Finally, he reached the outside fresh air, and looking around, he realised that no one had noticed. Good. To cover up the evidence of the tunnel then. Ryuu hastily got some dirt and rocks, covering it up. He didn't want someone unworthy of the books handling them. Now that he knew there was knowledge here, he would want to come back and read later.

Reading a nearby post which had the locations of Cassander on it, Ryuu took note of the areas they were in, opting to go and meet the one up north. And so the boy started his journey to go and meet a relic of the past...

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
Defeat a horde of zombies without using your ninjutsu (5)

Summary:
Returning to the Ruins, Vegeta was ready to utilize the power of the mysterious Lion pill given to him by Sado to the fullest. With his animal form, he begins going on a murda spree taking out the legions of undead still roaming about from the epicenter of the carnage.
`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Take a break Boit..
Vegeta says to his trusty steed before hoping down to the ground. Looking around at the mindless horde he could see them doing all sorts of ungodly things to the people unfortunate enough to get caught in their wake. It was a nightmare scene, zombies kneeling over dead animal and humans alike, ripping the flesh from their bones and devouring it. It was truly a disgusting sight, and something began to really piss Vegeta off. The thought that most of these people probably died honorable in battle, only to be pulled back from the clearing at the end of the path and turned into this. His blood was really beginning to boil and he found himself opening and closing his fists, the long sharp nails from his transformation clanging loudly. He closes his arms crossing them as if hugging himself before swiftly thrusting them back open to his sides, the flames from the ruins gleaming off their shiny points.
Taking a lowered stance like a beast Vegeta begins to "power up", letting out a mighty roar that could be heard across the land drawing the attention of the zombies particularly the ones closer to him that could see where the noise came from. The pill he had taken was coursing thru his veins and seemed to react to the anger welling up within him. He was losing part of his humanity and an animistic nature was talking hold. It was an amazing feeling combined with the senjutsu chakra flowing with in himself. His instincts were at peak levels, and the combined speed afforded him by the SM and the pill made him capable of moving at blinding speeds. Planting his hands to the ground and looking forwards, he sets his sites on the zombies that were closest to him and Boitata, a plume of smoke bellows upwards as he practically vanishes from view. The path of dust leads to 3 zombie corpse' falling to the ground one after another and Vegeta stopping shortly behind them still crouched like an animal stalking his next prey. The airborne zombies heads all falling to the ground in the same order almost comically. With his sharp claws, Vegeta has 3 pieced the undead trio with a right/left/right slashing combo across the throats of the zombies with such tremendous force their heads where separated clean off their bodies flying several meters upwards in the process. using his byakugan, he has already set his next mark without even looking in the direct he was about to head. A much larger amount of zombies seemed to be heading in the direction him and Boit had just entered from with the exception of the ones the roar had stirred. In a blinding dash, he was back off again running on all fours straight towards the pack..
( Za Danshingu Shiro Tora ) - The Dancing White Tiger
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 80
Description: The user assumes a low stance and positions their hands to mimic claws. By pouncing on a target the user is able to deliver tiger claw strikes that can dig into and then tear out a target’s flesh. Though the attacks are extremely deadly against lightly armored targets they cannot pierce through heavy armor.
Launching himself upwards into the air, Geets has timed his jump to land right in the center of the small horde. His clawed hands open with the fingers together like blades, he thrust his right hand straight thru the zombie he lands on's head as they hit the ground, bouncing himself to a standing position off the now redead guy. With a quick glance in front of himself and pretty much every other direction thanks to his Byakugan, Geets begins to sway back and forth like he was inebriated and to some degree he was. His blooded hands and claws still dripping from the zombie he stood above as the horde begins to close in from all sides and he quickly calculates a plan of attack heading towards the closest zombie to begin his assault. Letting out another mighty Lion like roar, he thrust the blade like left hand of his straight upwards piercing its head under the jawline, the long claws piercing it's brain rededing it to death. Taking a glance around while withdrawing his hand, the body hits the ground with a sickening thud as Geets body shifts towards his next target quickly closing in. There were 5 zombies close together behind the one Vegeta's brain deemed "first" of the group to attack, and once the first gets his head lopped off by Vegeta's horizontal slice across it's throat, he staggers fluidly towards the quintet of death. Closing in,he jumps up targeting the center zombie beginning to rotate 540 degrees while delivering the three kicks, a right kick crushes the side of the first zombie followed immediately by a reverse left heel kick to two of the zombies in the path, the claws of his feet from the Lion pill slicing their heads in half horizontally across the bridge of their nose. Still not done, his bodies continuous torque has positioned his right foot in striking range of the last 2 zombies in this bunch, a right foot with sharp claws cuts across their decomposed heads, as Geets delivers the last of this 3 strike combo with a right cross before landing back to the ground eyeballing the next group to attack while the zombies all fall one after another...
Buncha pussies, I'm just getting started!
His hand reaches back grasping the handle of a bat squeezing it lovingly as he draws it pointing it at the next group of zombies, staggering as he does so he leans forwards before bursting off once more in a plume of dust towards them..
(Suiken) - Drunken Fist
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 30
Description: This unusual taijutsu style is a unique style of combat Drunken Fist Fighters become human powerhouses who'll strike unpredictability, with no inhibitions, an explosive fury and without any second thoughts about their actions. The user can either make themselves drunk or imitate the method by use of swaying and uneven balance on their feet to attack their opponents a total of 12 variant attacks.
Taijutsu: Tengoku piasu tsume) - Taijutsu: Heaven Piercing Claw
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 60
Description: The user of this technique will begin by using an open palm, with no separation between his fingertips, then by thrusting his fingertips in to a sensitive location on the opponents body such as the sternum, or any major nerve cluster the user will cause considerable damage along with debilitating effects that vary on the location struck, for example if the sternum was struck the opponent would have the wind knocked from his body losing 3 total speed levels and being unable to use fast movement abilities such as the body flicker additionally he would lose the ability to mold chakra in his stomach, preventing the usage of abilities that require this, such as fire techniques expelled from the mouth. Should the user strike a nerve cluster in the arms of the opponent, said opponent would be unable to use the arm to perform any actions for three turns, and upon regaining usage of the arm he would be slowed considerably in regards to forming handseals, with a single seal taking as long as two normally, and scaling upwards with two taking the time of four etc. If a leg was struck the opponent would be unable to move under his own volition for three turns and upon regaining the ability to move would still be unable to do so for extended distances, being unable to move six or more meters per turn for the remainder of the fight without collapsing and causing permanent damage to the afflicted leg. This technique can be used in a counter striking method against an oncoming taijutsu attack by avoiding the opponents attack using a variety of stepping motions I.E a sidestep or backstep, but can also be used offensively. The thrusting motion of the attack using the fingertips can be substituted with a bladed weapon if desired such as a sword or kunai. Regardless of being armed or unarmed or what area is struck the attack is capable of causing quite heavy bleeding if successful comparable to the bleeding caused by biting ones own tongue off. Which can have negative long term effects obviously including bleeding out over a number of turns unless the blood loss is somehow stemmed.
Notes:
-Can only be used by those who have completed canon taijutsu (not NB taijutsu)
-May only be used three times
-Only teachable by ReXii
( Toripuru ) - Sunny Triple Strike
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 60
Description: A fantastic close quarter maneuver, the Sunny Triple Strike relies on excessive flexibility and taijutsu expertise. Starting from either a running entry or stationary, the user will leap up with his legs in a full split mid-air and proceed to deliver three kicks to the target. The first kick would be like a standard jumping side kick, but with their extremely strong core they would maintain the split and continue rotating their body to enable a whiplash and follow with a reverse heel kick from the opposite leg and then finish it by continuing the rotation and delivering a final kick with the leg that delivered the original strike. During the course of the taijutsu move, the Shinobi would essentially rotate 540 degrees while delivering the three kicks.
-Can only be used 3x times
-Cannot use S rank taijutsu the next turn
With "Lucy" in hand, Vegeta finds himself close enough to be able to hear the music still emanating thru the tunnel he had created leading a horde of zombies like the pied piper straight to the Shogun's house, Sado must have set up a boombox playing this on loop to drive the masses of undead straight down the Shogunate's throat..
You must be registered for see medias
With glee on his Lionesque face and at an amazing speed, Vegeta swings away like he was a professional ballplayer. The loud thumps and splattering of brain matter and blood was a perfect mash up with the overly happy sounding background music. In almost no time, Vegeta smashes in the skulls of hundreds of the undead. Seeing that the majority of them were now dead once more, he lets out a thunderous roar that could be heard thru out the LM. Walking up to Boit, he could see many dead undead burnt or sliced in half by his axe like tail, seems Vegeta was right not to worry about leaving him to play with the zombies. Felt good to stretch his legs a bit. Now he was ready to head back to the arena. Mounting Boitata, his SM finally ends. He would begin to slowly draw in natural energy from atop Boits head as his companion does the traveling for him. Before he does so, he would shoot a message to Sado telling him everything he's done since he last saw him..
LLM and ending mission
This post marks the start of my mission involving the following storybaord element:
-Defeat a horde of zombies without using your ninjutsu (5)
Summary:
After arriving in the Ruins of Chungsu, Rhaenys quickly finds the body of her lost friend Kazumi. Infuriated by her loss, Rhaenys takes out as many Zombies as she can before heading off.
There was a smell of death lingering in the air, the scent all too familiar with Rhanys, as she had known it many times before from the corpses of her enemies. Something was rotting and the place she was approaching had a seemingly dark tone to it, the collapsed buildings and ruins casting long foreboding shadows on the grounds. Flying overhead, Rhaenys' eyes scanned the ruins examining every potential threat as she did, the undead roaming around the streets, warriors and villagers alike shambling around with their low moans. This must have been done by Cassander, she had thought to herself. It wasnt long before in a small tower, she could see a body slumped over a pot, a familiar white dress with black hair and red ribbon, her heart skipping a beat.
Kazumi....
Dread began to fill her at the potential site of her closest friend lost to these monsters fighting to keep the world a safer place. Between the two of them Kazumi had always been the more level headed one, keeping Rhaenys in line, never biting off more than she could fight her way out of, which most of the time was because of Rhaenys. Landing down, her worst fears were confirmed as she turned over the body, tears welling up beginning to fall down her face as the blood and bruises all over her body visibly were caused by the monsters below, chunks of flesh torn and ripped out, scratchs over her arms, bits of her dress missing at the hems. Rhaenys couldnt believe her best friend had gone, and slowly the sadness turned to anger. The fire burned within Rhaenys, the fire grew, how dare they take her best friend away. These pathetic nobodies had taken the closest thing Rhaenys had ever known to a best friend before her siblings, and now they were going to pay. They may be undead, but Rhaenys could make sure that they would never hurt anyone else again.
Jumping down from the tower she landed directly onto the head of the first zombie, crushing its skull beneath her boot into the road, a growl coming across her face as she looked towards the next zombie, it barely recognizing her as a thread before being taken out with a single fist through his head, the sheer force of her punch producing a hole. She was furious and now these zombies were about to feel her wrath, the fire of a dragon. They ran towards her linging up easily allowing her to strike them back down, breaking necks and ribs with each strike she delivered. Even when they got close enough from behind, the sound of their moaning and shuffling was trigger enough for Rhaenys to duck under their attack and counter with a kick. Quickly she was amassing enough kills 5, 10, 20 zombies within the first minute. She wasnt going to stop until they had paid the price for taking an angel from her.
You must be registered for see images
Picking up a street lamp, she began swinging it around much like a baseball bat, taking out 3 or 4 at a time, each swing breaking heads apart, or sweeping out legs as she would trip them up, only to slam the pole down crushing them into the dirt. She was going far beyond what she would normally be doing. She wasn't toying with them or giving them a chance, she wanted to crush and destroy every last zombie that she could. She didnt even think about any techniques, any chakra, she jsut wanted to use her bare fists to stop as many and to make them pay, as she possibly could. All logic had flown out the window when she snapped.
You must be registered for see images
This was revenge. This was just one woman taking out as many undead as she possibly could because they hurt her. Soon she had eventually taken out over 50-100 zombies, she had lost count, her brain simply switching over to emotional rage, no thought about when to stop. With every zombie she killed, satisfaction took place inside her, almost as if it helped, but it was like filling a never ending well. Every Zombie that fell didnt quench any thirst inside her. After an hour of killing zombies hitting somewhere in the 250 mark, she calmed down. There were none around her, she had killed almost anything that moved on the block, with the sun starting to rise. Blood pooled in the streets from the bodies, splashed across her face and fists, the street pole she was using bent and broken.
Everything hit her like a truck, suddenly all at once. She collapsed to her knees, weeping as the tears rolled down her face.
Kazumi.... Im so sorry.... I wish I had been there....
She began bawling her eyes out, hands clasped to her face, moaning at the loss of her friend, the kindred sould who now only felt half alive, half of herself lost forever.
She didnt know how long had past, whether it was minutes, hours, climbing back to her feet, she took a deep breath, storing her emotions back down once again and spread her wings. With one push, she leap upwards to fly towards the mainland inwards once more, vowing never to let another friend die alone again.
Genji finally arrived to the once beating heart of the Freehold of Hanguri, unfortunately it had met it's end and it's light had been extinguished now it was known as the Ruins of Chungsu.
@ZK
The fiery blue form of Cassander appeared in full before Genji, but fading quickly. Scowling, the Argead General threw a small sack of Ryo onto the ground. "So you were right, big deal! But I have no more time to play with you, so take your pittance and go!" The ghost bit out venomously before fading away completely.
~For solving 2/3 riddles you're awarded the rewards of a B-ranked mission. Good going.
Isoka continued westward and passed through the strange ruins. He thought he saw a spirit of some kind, but his time for investigating such things was non-existent.
This post marks the beginning of my (our) mission using these storyboard elements:
-Infiltrate an enemy's base (3)
Summary: Medusa and Riku proceed towards the a new enemy in search of specimen.
On getting to the ruins, Medusa would come across a notice about a notorious group of criminals situated at an adjacent landmark and it was said they spread terror by stealing, pillaging and kidnapping. Only thing however that captivated Medusa was that this group are said to be rogue ninjas. Ninjas mean a set of new abilities to steal and experiment on. This is Medusa's area of interest and nothing is going to stop her now from going there and collecting. She tell Riku her plan and order him to look for a way so that they sneak there unnoticed.
We are going to the next land to wipe out some trouble makers and collect their DNA samples. However, I want us to sneak in there and before they know it, they won't know what had hit them.
I believe that should not be a problem for you
I thought you'd never ask.
Riku looked at Medusa. He had been bored throughout their journey until now. Medusa now bringing this up excites him and he also is ready for some action. He would activate his animal path and summon the Chameleon into the field. His chakra sensory would already pick up their destination and those they are going to meet. Once the chameleon appears, Medusa and Riku would jump into its mouth while it closes it mouth, it would go into camouflage mode and proceed swiftly but silently towards the destination being guided by Riku.
The camouflage is so perfect that it hides the summons chakra and even that of those inside it from any sensing technique, even sage mode users, making it not only a visual camouflage but also a sensory one. The snake-tail can be used as a prehensile limb, to be able to grab and capture intended targets for Pain with its tongue
Previous Post: Here.
Biography: Shayde Uchiha.
Several months had passed since the horrors that plagued Chungsu, and more importantly the entire Ninja World, during the time of Conqueror's End. Between an avatar of destruction in the form of a reincarnated Uchiha General from days gone by, to the countless hordes that swarmed the world en masse, and threatened to engulf the world itself in death and decay, and the shady, completely elusive and unknown figures who put the events into motion, there was too much to do as the world sought to recover. Shayde Uchiha, on the other hand, was consumed with a crushing guilt, that he allowed this to both transpire within, and desecrate the place he once called home. Despite his best efforts on the night everything was put into motion, his hastiness was his undoing. As he charged into that harrowing room within the Monastery of Chungsu, his Sharingan ablaze, ready to defeat any foe in his path, his own preemptive preparedness spelt his defeat before he even stepped foot in the room, for, as he charged into the room, blinding flashes from the ritual, and then other, unknown Jutsu rendered him temporarily incapacitated enough to the point that, by the time he recovered, "Cassander", and his summoners were long gone. For the rest of the celebration, Shayde wandered from Land to Land, following rumor after rumor, getting nowhere, until, finally, word from all of the Ninjas World cheered his defeat, along with the dissipation, and subsequent quelling of the zombie hordes. Despite his best efforts, he was utterly useless in the hunt of Cassander, and had never felt so powerless in all his life... As a way to help given the circumstances, Shayde remained in Chungsu to help provide relief to the stark few who refused to leave, and were fortunate enough not to be killed by the undead masses. To some, it was seen as a genuine attempt to help them in this dire time, yet to many more, it was clear from the way he composed himself that this was an attempt to bury his guilt, and to the few who knew him, one final search for answers. But his help, regardless of it's intent, was welcome all the same, as having a somewhat competent Shinobi around helped reduce the risk of raids, and random attacks, while the added muscle when it came to recovery and relief efforts was much appreciated.
But while his days were filled with self-imposed atonement, unbeknownst to everyone else, Shayde's nights were spent training in secret. However, this was not a traditional method of training, to either better himself physically or mentally, but to train a woefully underdeveloped muscle he had been neglectfully avoiding for years. Indeed, this muscle had essentially atrophied, in a sense... As he sat in the small tent he had claimed for his own, dimly kept lit with a small candle that gently shone within the otherwise abyssal space, he stared casually, yet intently down at his right hand. It was at this moment, the silence that had befallen Chungsu was ever so quietly broken, as Shayde posed a question in the form of a whisper; "Hmm... Fight?" The question was simple enough, as was the answer that came from a mouth that unzipped from along his palm; "Eat." The answer was prompt, simple, and straight to the point, with very little time between the question being asked and the answer being given. Again, the silence broke, as a silent question was proposed; "Death?", another simple question. "Feast." with another equally simple answer, and a pattern developing. Shayde had been doing this for weeks, and yet failed to get much more of a response from the sentient extremity, however, it was reassuring that the beast bound to the Uchiha could communicate in more ways than bestial roars. This was primarily due to Shayde opening his mind to the alien creature, allowing it to act like an open book to learn from, while he was granted the same courtesy in return, seeing fragments of distant lands long forgotten, all from the perspective of some calamitous beast, consuming all in it's path. Truly, a learning experience that benefited both... Despite this, Shayde's trust had not been misplaced, yet, so that's all that mattered, so they continued their exchange of simple, select words in secret for several months, until the two could vaguely hold a conversation, albeit, one where Shayde had to intentionally avoid long or confusing words, as though he were conversing with a toddler, but a toddler was preferable to a snarling beast, so the progress was welcome all the same. And while Shayde taught Greed the basics of conversation, he also did his best to teach it simple etiquette. Such as not trying to eat the survivors of a horrific tragedy, and his neighbors... Sadly that lesson was an uphill struggle, but at nothing horrific had happened so far, so Shayde believed it to be working. If the bottomless glutton needed something to eat, there was literally no shortage of debris that it was more than welcome to chow down on, should it feel peckish, as it effectively killed two birds with one stone; sating Greed's hunger, while helping with the relief after the horrific events of Chungsu, provided it didn't eat the remains of loved ones, reanimated or not.
It was also around this time that Shayde began to "experiment" with the potential applications of the abilities Greed had been exhibiting up until this point. To the unobservant eye, Greed would merely stretch, expand, and shrink at will, but a more astute individual would see Greed's expansion and contraction almost akin to the nigh infinite proliferation of a cancer cell, which ironically lined up with it's tendency to consume everything in it's path, even itself, though this was purely speculation on Shayde's part, as if that were the case, and Greed was indeed a mass of literal cancer, he would have most definitely been completely consumed by it by now. But as things stood, there was a clear, definitive "boundary" to where Shayde ended, and Greed began, and this "boundary" hadn't been "broken" since the seals that used to keep Greed sealed and suppressed faded. So with confidence in his body's unchanging organic condition, Shayde began to test the limits of Greed's expansion, and shape-shifting, starting small with minor usages, such as shaping his one arm into many, then into weapons, creating tendril-like appendages with sharpened bones at the end, like sinewy flails, he then began to push things further. In one case, Shayde managed to cover his entire body with Greed's "bio mass", and molded it into an almost chitinous armor, akin to an exoskeleton, while in others, he managed to create simple items that maintained their form while apart from Greed itself, such as a horned mask while a demonic visage. As the experiments grew more and more elaborate, Shayde noted that, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't seem to reach whatever "limit" there was to Greed's expansion, meaning there either was none, or it was based on some value that was simply too high to reach with small, localized attempts, especially when trying to not get caught. His best guess was that it was tied to how much Greed had consumed, and judging by the apparent that was housed within Greed, that number could very well be infinite...
January 13th, Year 812.
The day began as any other. Shayde opted to help shift some rubble and debris covering a former apothecary. The hope was that it would still contain some intact medicinal materials and supplies, of which the survivors were, unsurprisingly, getting low on these days. As he lifted one chunk of building after another, Shayde noticed that some new flyers had been posted on one of the noticeboards found around the survivor's camps. Typically they were calls for help, or calls to action, like someone asking for help, as they'd had their possessions stolen, or were farmers in dire need of driving off large animals from their crops, but in this case, something was off. No name was given, nor was the contents of the post very clear, or for that matter, polite. In fact, it was almost sneering in it's tone, noting how their apparent "generosity" had been wasted. The named "champion" Genji Hayabusa meant nothing to the uninformed Uchiha, nor did the location, or perhaps faction noted; the Sunlit Forge. While the note itself truly meant nothing to him, the riddles scribbled in the corners of the post, some of which had apparently already been scribbled out, did. Or, at least, he thought one did... Taking the post itself in hand, and reading over one of the riddles, Shayde pocketed the flyer, and finished shifting his current load of debris, mulling the flyer over as he did so. A shady, enigmatic figure commanding people from behind a veil of secrecy? An unknown faction, or location? Shayde couldn't help but feel a foreboding sense of deja vu, as though a calamity on par with the events of Conqueror's End were about to occur once more. Even if it wasn't the same group of necromancers, which was more than likely given this individuals penchant for making their plans known to the public, even if they themselves were shrouded in mystery, it was similar enough to prompt Shayde to action. It would appear as though he sought a higher purpose...
Coming from here: [x]
Alucard and Akemi had entered the heartlands of the fire country. Already back at the noodle panhandle they got good vibes of the start of a hunt that would lead Alucard astray on his ability to take others bloodline kekkei genkais. This would lay the foundation of the whole plot. It started at the ruins of Chungsu. The whispers of his fixation had reached the descendant assassination. The fact that they had, gave Alucard the signal of his move. Waiting at the black gates of the village that was attacked by the kyuubi many years ago, Alucard would keep alert and hide his presence. He wasn't the only nightcrawler in the land at this point. Alucard had spread the word around his meeting point with the assassin; by the gates of the Chungsu ruins themselves. Of course, it would also have to be in the middle of the night, duh. He sat his ass on the wall, looking out on the noodle panhandle's coastal lines in the far distances. It was now dusk, and Alucard would fade into the void as he cloaked himself to camouflage himself to the surroundings. He waited patiently while Akemi would be blended in perfectly with the surroundings due to her black skin. Her bioluminescent spots where dimmed. It was now close to 1 am. Still nobody to be seen.. Or was there? Alucard slapped on his eye of riven and scouted the area. There was a a sign of life, cloaked in the seemingly same technique Alucard used. He seemed to have the upper hand at this moment though. The man standing down there on high alert matched the descriptions he had received. Black clothes with red bands and bone spiking all over his spine and shoulders. He also had two dots on his forehead. Alucard was sure that even if he could without a doubt do the first move, it would have to be one of his strongest techniques. The assassin had not showed his abilities to anyone that had lived afterall.. Alucard crept down the walls with muffled movements. He delicately placed himself on the same path of the assassin. At the neck of the nearby forest and the black walls of the ruins. As he stepped closer to the target, Alucards pulse automatically increased even though he knew exactly what to do and try to remain calm. And so it happened, Alucard placed a seal on the back of the man infront of him. He knew this would give up his position, but it had to be done. He had no idea what to expect from his foe. With the seal placed, Alucard quickly retreated into the forest with the man looking behind him swiftly as he had felt the touch. The seal Alucard placed had taken so much chakra from his reserves that it caused a recoil to his chakra flow and zapped his camouflage ever so slightly. The assassin noticed this and charged towards Alucard, who aimed both his guns towards the man. He then saw it. The man was able to bend his bones into his will, heck he was even able to pull out his own spinal chord as he rushed towards Alucard who was frozen in position. His finger where stuck on the trigger of the bow and the nightmare.. Akemi rushed in with a large lightening bolt that fried the opponents bone technique in which he responded by creating a pair of wings out of bones while firing from them razor sharp projectiles.
Alucard, wake up man what're you doing?
Akemis call for his master triggered the assassin who halted slightly after shooting his projectiles that where swiftly shoved to the side by one of Akemis tentacles. Alucard remained stationary.
So, i wonder if you people are the ones i was meant to assassin. Or you where my to-be-employers huh? Tough shit, you're not getting out of here alive.
Alucard looked up towards the man while pulling his left arm to halt Akemi from doing more as she had hurt her tentacle that had blocked the previous move. He looked at the man with fire in his eyes. Alucard would keep his distance while the man.
What is your name, bone freak?
The man answered only with a big grin on his face. He then assaulted Alucard and Akemi simultaneously. Alucard would direct his sonic tractor beam and halt the mans movements completely while Akemi attempted to fry him with yet another lightning technique. This was futile for it seemed like their opponent didn't just have one kekkei genkai, but two. He also possessed the same dark marks as Alucard and with without having to move, he would absorb Akemis lightening technique throught he marks. As he did, he grew two large bone dragons that assaulted Alucard and Akemi. Not only that, but it would seem like he had also coated them with dark chakra that he was able to produce from Akemis lightening technique. This left Alucard no choice but to release his grip over him and think ahead on what to do. Luckily for Alucard, he knew exactly what the dark chakra could and couldnt survive in terms of elemental interactions. He therefore pointed his nightmare gun towards the dragon and fired a bullet while using his other hand to deflect the other dragon buy assaulting it with blazing hot bismuth that he created through thin air. Both dragons where shattered but the assassin had already closed the gap between him and Alucard. He would enhance his taijutsu technique with hardened bones and hit Alucard in the stomach. This caused Alucard to puke blood and he retreated slightly with his head all spinning. He had lost concentration. Another punch towards his head came swiftly, this time it punctured his skin and cheek while taking two teeth with it. Alucard tried to put up a smile but he couldn't. Instead he was again the underdog.. He couldn't accept it, but instead looked up towards the enemy only to take another blow towards his chest. He felt a rib break and he collapsed on the ground. Staring at the opponents disgustingly confident smile. He then spoke.
I am Kimmimario. The true descendant of Kaguya Otsotsuki and the taker of your life. For a pussy like you, not bad huh? You could've been killed by any insect afterall.
Alucards vision started to faint. Was it his end? He could hear Akemi pull her tentacles towards Kimmimario in vain. With a swift blow she was knocked out. Alucard raised his hands towards Kimmimario and yelled seemingly silently as he watched Akemi taking another beat after the other. It was at this point the seal he previously had slapped on his opponent activated. The red spot marked the mans forehead and he ceased moving completely. Alucard then dropped his pointing hands towards the ground and with that move it also forced Kimmimario to fall towards the ground as well as his body was now manipulative from hand motions from Alucard.
...
Hours passed and Alucard woke up from the battle. Kimmimario was still lying on the ground, Akemi had started to clean her wounds and looked towards Alucard with a rather cold stare. She then nodged towards the body of Kimmimario.
Don't you have a job to do? Chimera his ass and claim his power.
Alucard arose and moved his hands upwards to raise the body in a standing position as well. He then performed three seals and let out a black/blue ooze of disgusting gue. The body of Kimmimario was then enveloped in the gelatinous glop and consumed by it. Akemi looked away. Alucard stared at the creation of his chimera technique. This was how he would conquer the world ultimately. The sacrifice was complete and Alucard looked towards his knuckles.
Is it done?
The ground broke into a thousand pieces and an unfathomable roar followed. Alucard had turned the surroundings into a forest - of his own bones. It was done. He had gained the power of his enemy and in the process eliminated him. Akemi let out a loud sigh and wrapped one of her tentacles around Alucards shoulder.
C'mon pal, where done here
Alucard and Akemi would follow the road the where positioned next to. But to what end?
Techniques involved in encounter:
Alucard:
(Meisaigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding with Camouflage Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30 (-10 per turn active)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user after performing the Tiger hand seal to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills. The Second Tsuchikage, Mū's mastery of this technique helped earn him the moniker "Non-Person" seemingly having neither form nor chakra while the technique was active. Thus, he could not be sensed through traditional means.
Note: Technique lasts a total of 3 turns
Eye of Riven
Type: Tool
Rank: A
Range: N/A
Chakra: 30(-10/turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: The Eye of Riven is an advanced tech that is in the form of a very modernly designed monocle that is on the user either at all times or whenever they feel like using it. As the tool is small and easy to put on, it doesn't cost the user a moveslot to activate it. It draws from the users chakra immediately as it activates. The Eye of Riven is actually a spectrum of advanced technology that lets the user see different patterns through the monocle if they are behind a wall, behind a raging storm, mist or even underground.
The system works not unlike aircraft radar. But instead of bouncing off planes and returning to the ground, the signal here travels through the wall, bounces off a human (as we’re full of water), and comes back through the wall and into a detector, which is in this case the monocle. By using chakra, the user can interpret the signals coming through the monocle and browse through layers of material they are looking at through the monocle.
Note: Can only be made by Skorm.
(Juuinjutsu: Kugutsu no Noroi) Cursed Seal: Puppet Curse
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short (Short-Long on activation)
Chakra: N/A (70 to place the mark, 70 per turn to control)
Damage: N/A
Description:
Hiruko uses this technique to take control of people. It can be activated long after the technique is first applied. The appearance, once activated (which requires the confrontation hand seal), is a red eye with another circle in it resembling the pupil, with four lines stemming from the upper line of the eye and two big thick lines stemming from the side of the eye. This power seems to control the minds of others as it appeared on Kakashi's forehead, vanished, then took control over his body. The eyes of the person who get caught by this technique turn red while they are being controlled. The technique works in a manner similar to controlling a puppet; using hand motions to guide the target to its destination. To apply the technique, the user must have physical contact with the opponent in order to place the curse seal. Once placed, it takes 2 turns to be able to activated but once activated it cannot be broken.
Note: Can only be used once per battle and only by Hiruko bios
Note: Cannot control Jinchurikis.
(Sonikkutorakutābīmu) - Sonic tractor beam
Type: Tool
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40(-10/turn)
Damage: N/A(80, if used aggressively and slam a shinobi into the ground for instance)
Description: The tractor cannon is a device placed inside the hand of the wielder and is about the size of a cent. The tractor cannon uses sound frequenciez to attract an object in question by surrounding it in a concentrated high-pitch and constantly controlled loud sound which in turn creates a force field around the object. This gives the properties of manipulating foreign objects without actually touching them, however the technology of this device is very underwhelming and is in a very early state of scientific research but the limits of the sonic tractor beam is that it can only move objects that are the same weight or less than the wielder of the tool. If the user wants to remain gripping an object for more than one turn, additional chakra needs to be put into the device and they may not close their one hand where the device is on since that would disrupt the tractor beams sound-waves. Therefore, techniques that requires handseals cannot be used at the same time as the tractor beam is used for an object(pulling, lifting etc). A way to neutralise being lifted up in the air and smashed into the ground is to simply disrupt the soundwaves by using wind. The user must also always focus the device on the object they are lifting. If an object is caught in the force-field of the tractor beam that is of much greater weight than the user, it will only partially slow it down. The tractor beam can push and drag objects in pretty decent speeds(up to the users own speed base). The minimal weight the tractor beam can influence is the weight of a feather.
Note: Objects that are to be manipulated cannot exceed the weight of the user or a regular human to have lift-off from the ground. They may only be partially slowed down.
Note: The maximum reach for the tractor beam, or as far as it can push objects is long-range.
Note: The tractor beams hold only lasts for a maximum of 3 turns and can only be used twice per battle for holding objects that long.
(Gōruden'naitomea) - Golden Nightmare
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: The Golden Nightmare is a sword made by parts of reinforced steel and liquid bismuth. This makes the sword able to shift in construction and turn into a hand-cannon due to the liquid parts of the construction. It will either start as a sword or a hand cannon at the beginning of an encounter. Both forms gives the user an enhanced passive trait to the bisumaton release, increasing it's damage by +20 and giving it additionally +10 chakra through a designated seal that is passively activated when it's master is either holding the blade/handcannon or has it sheathed. The seal fluctuates bismuth chakra through its masters body constantly and gives them an extremely faint rainbowy aura(which is just for visual effects).
Sword: The sword form is very beautiful with multitudes of colors and shining edges. The edge of the sword is partially liquid bismuth and partially hardened steel. Due the temperature of liquid bismuth the sword will inflict severe burns on contact with skin and cause great pain. It further enhances the swords cutting capability since it can melt away other elements(within reason, but rubbery and bouncy for example) that are in the way of the sharp steel. If placed on the ground with the hilt upwards and the edge planted in the foundation of the ground infront of the user it will release a large portion of liquid bismuth into the ground that will shape into half of a sphere. Using their ability to control the element, the user can then shape the underground sphere into large roots or trees around the battlefield that deals burning damage on touch. These roots can reach long range while the trees(depending on their length) can only reach mid-range. This causes S-rank damage. The trees can spread and create a miniature forest(about 30 meters big and 10 meters tall), entrapping foes. On touch it causes severe burns. While not dealing 80 damage on freeform, the sword can be used for standard kenjutsu techniques with the burning damage added to it. The user can, however, do freeform 80 damage kenjutsu moves but that will consume a moveslot.
Handcannon: The handcannon form of the Golden Nightmare is like the sword, very beautiful and contains the exact same parts as the sword. This handcannon can fire rounds made out of liquid bismuth. On impact, the bullets will not pierce their target but rather splat on the impact surface and spread across it. This causes severe pain and if shot on a limb it will immobilize it the metal is quite heavy. One single shot can spread all across a regular human-sized creature's torso all the way to their back and thus immobilizes their spine.
Regular gun rules apply and only one round can be shot each time-frame.
Note: A bullet and the sword does 80 damage following the S/W of Bisumaton and up to four bullets per match.
Note: Changing form of the sword costs a move-turn and the user must state in the beginning of a battle what form the Golden Nightmare has taken. If not, it's default as a sword.
Note: Can only be used by Skorm
Note: Utilizing the roots/tree application of the sword renders the user incapable of using the sword's other active abilities in the same and next turn.
Note: Firing a bullet, using the sword for an S-rank attack, or creating the roots render the user unable to use Bismuth Techniques above A-rank in the same turn.
(Bisumaton: Kamigami no umi | Bismuth release: Sea of gods)
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D-S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10-40
Damage: 20-80
Description: Sea of gods is a multi-ranked technique that serves as the basic, jack-of-all-trades technique of the bismuth release. It can be created from existing sources(earth) or from the user directly. Depending on how much chakra he/she spends it amps the technique further and thus produces more liquid bismuth. The force of the torrent of the liquid metal will also become greater the more chakra is spent into the technique. But even so, small amounts of liquid bismuth may be enough for some occasions too. Through this technique, the user will be able to shape the land infront of them and create small or large torrents of the liquid bismuth, create a huge "sea" of the molten metal right under their targets or manipulate pre-existing liquid bismuth to form into huge hands or small flying liquid bullets. Even though the possibilities are essentially endless, the bismuth will stay on the field until destroyed and does not require chakra to stay on the field. However, since the release is indeed liquid it cannot maintain any lasting functional structures unless chakra is used to sustain the releases state. Sort of like water which can be formed into a dragon but needs chakra to sustain its form in such case. D, C and B ranks can be used indefinitely while B-ranks will require one handseal; Hare. A rank variation can be used up to 4 times, but will start to require two handseals; Hare - Ox. S-rank variation requires three handseals; Hare - Ox - Rabbit - and can be used up to 3 times per battle.
Note: B-ranks require a single handseal, A ranks two handseals and S rank three handseals.
Note: A rank version can be used 4 times per battle, S rank 3.
Note: No Bismuth Above A-rank after using S-rank version.
( Sawarabi no Mai ) - Dance of the Young Ferns
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 45
Damage Points: 80
Description: Sawarabi no Mai is the fifth and last of the five Kaguya dance forms. The user causes a giant forest of tall sharp bone spikes to burst up from the ground covering the entire field. While active, the user can merge themselves into the bone trees at will to attack their target from whichever spike they want.
Kimmimario:
( Tessenka no Mai: Tsuru ) - Dance of the Clematis: Vine
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The fourth of the five Kaguya Dances is divided into two jutsu. The first half allows the user to remove their spinal column from their back to create a flexible yet extremely sharp bone vine. Because the vine is flexible, it can wrap itself around an opponent to rip them to pieces.
( Hone Tsubasa ) - Bone Wings
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user grows large bone wings from their back which can be used to fly or to defend. The user can also flap these wings and release bone spikes once per turn. The wings last for 3 turns.
( Nibai Hone Doragon ) - Double Bone Dragon
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: An advanced form of the it's A ranked parent technique. The user will release two bone Dragons which can bind the enemy and using further manipulation, bone spikes can grow from the Dragon's body to pierce the enemy or can be shot from its mouth. These dragons are notable larger than the parent technique, twice the size. The vital difference between these jutsu is the number of Dragon's made.
Note: Can only be used twice.
(Meiton: Kurōbāfīrudo) Dark Arts: Cloverfield
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 40(-10/turn)
Damage: 80
Description: A dark technique that utilises stored chakra in the users dark mark after having absorbed a technique of equal strength. The user will then press their hand(s) against a surface of an object, could be the ground, a summon, a person, a sword etc and coats it with 1 mm thick dark chakra. The coating itself will retain the visuals of regular dark chakra. If a coated object is touched by foreign chakra or physical touch(not the user of the technique's) it will explode with dark chakra and blast it away like a bomb. This is very useful to coat rocks or swords or even clones to make them into walking bombs of dark chakra. Covering the ground can also be done by slamming the dark mark on the surface and extend it to a large field of dark chakra that will work as a minefield. Albeit not being able to trigger the explosion itself by mistake, the user of the technique is by no means resistant to the technique itself and will have to use it with extreme precaution. Each blast will cover up to short-range but the reach of the technique is mid-range. The coating will remain intact til detonated or destroyed but costs 10 chakra per turn to maintain.
Note: Can only be used twice per battle with a 3 turn cool-down.
Note: Must have absorbed a technique of equal strength before-hand.
Note: Can only be taught by Skorm.
Akemi:
(Raiton: Sanda Appu) – Lightning Release: Thunder Up
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user concentrates a lot of lightning chakra into their hand, compressing it into a ball of lightning energy. The user can then hurl it at the enemy or trust it forward in a melee attack. Once the ball hits the target, it expands into a massive lightning explosion.
  • Survive a near-death situation
Akemi and Alucard didn't return towards their base but instead decided to dig themselves into more trouble and for their effort, another chapter began. It was their roll through fi and fo's to chimera all kekkei genkai ho's. Alucard and Akemi where left wounded from their fight but where beginning to mend, especially Alucard who through his new kekkei genkai was able to regenerate slightly passed time. The past encounter would be nothing compared to what laid ahead. Out through the whispers of the town of Chungsu there was a name. A bounty for the only kekkei tota user known in present existence. His nickname was a bit of a turn-off but still. Alucard and Akemi approached the north-east coast line of the Chungsu province and sailed away, passed the lightening country and they would ultimately port in the land of earth. The secound chapter of Chimera was on its first page..
"Where are we Cleo?" Cleo would smile at the little bot.
"The beginning. Hop, you have been alive for a little over a week now, and you already know so much. The memory I gave you really is excellent. So because of this I want you to explore the world and learn more than I can teach you. I want you to identify who you are, who the world is and become the Hope Opportunity and Power it needs." Hop would analyze the old man's face. He saw sadness yet happiness, a sort of profoundness for it yet a sadness for himself.
"I can stay if you want me to Cleo," Hop would say to him. Cleo would only shake its head.
"That is exactly why I want you to go. So you can grow Hop." Hop would nod its head and hug Cleo.
"I may not fully understand you master, but if its your will I will not fail. I will explore the world and when I'm done I'll be back to you." Cleo smiled as a tear, fell from his cheek.
"Yeah, I'll be here waiting."
This post marks the start of my mission using the following elements:
- Convince a neutral party to fight with you
Strix arrived on the border of Chungsu and Shinramoto, just off the path that lead between the two major landmarks. Strix poured over situation after situation in her head wondering how things owuld play out. How would the family back home treat her, what would they think of her transformation, would Lena betray her, what was going to happen when they get there. It was going to be an interesting time getting Lena to fight along side Strix. Lena already demonstrated a cool and relaxed mind, thankfully not attacking Strix on sight. They had started to build a report, and Strix wanted to keep that going.
Coming from: here
Lena arrived soon after, emotions running high after dealing with the Elders back in Oka-wan. She brought Songbird down to the path that joined the two Landmarks and got off him. She pat him on the neck and whispered into his ear, the Bird soon after looking down towards her sadly before it's wings spread and it flew up high in the sky back into Shinramoto (Songbird Leaves Landmark).
Lena watched her bird disappear from her view and then looked around, spotting the figure off the beaten path. She was still interested in speaking to Lena afterall, the Threaded Woman approached slowly. She couldn't think of what to start with first.
"What is your interest in me specifically?"
