That'd be a Custom Weapon as well. You can have I believe up to 6 people use your CW, so only the people you allow to use it would be able to communicate with you.

Besides, regarding communication with long distances, you can always use Messenger Birds.

Though wouldn't that conflict with the very idea of 'weapon' when it really isn't :/ While as for the birds, I'd have to either have wrote a paragraph of information to send and wait for return than just talking to someone as they are next to me.

I just don't get what you mean at all. Care to elaborate a bit? And I seriously doubt that a watch can be used as a weapon which has a communication system in it.

If I'm not mistaken, radios were used in the first Chunin exams. If so, I don't see why you couldn't use one of those, albeit with a limited range. Given that the technology you are looking for is not otherwise found within the Narutoverse, I do not forsee you being permitted to have such technology. In the Narutoverse, long-range communication is achieved through unique ninjutsu and nothing more. Custom weapons, justu, and fighting styles are simply variants and extensions of existing things within the NV. They are based off pre-existing things and a communication watch is not.

My opinion anyway. RP staff will have a better statement.

I see your point. I am not asking for permission to use future tech and such. I'm asking if the idea of creating "modern-day technology" will be allowed? Well there's bound to be restrictions, but whatever I just wanna see if the very core can be formed.
