This isn't entirely true. While you are correct in saying not to edit your bio immediately after it is approved, it IS suggested that you update your bio monthly as your count/rank increases you will have access to learning new and more powerful jutsu. Also your bio should reflect growth in their personal background. If your bio has an ongoing goal to achieve (be it vengence, finding a lost family member or loved one etc.) some progress should be made as you rank up.
Look for training, people with Orange names can help with that. You don't need to be in a village for training, be rogue U_U **** the villages that ignored you up!

Most of the Senseis have threads designated for training requests that you post in and apply for training. Some others allow members to ask on their VM wall. It varies from Sensei to Sensei. I recommend going to the Sensei list, which can be found stickied in the Training Grounds forum, and visiting the various Senseis listed and check their profile to see if they are accepting members.
