alright soo, why do we learn tai, if it can be countered with freeform? >.>

To able to legitimately defend against certain ninjutsu techniques with tai related techniques since free-form dodging isn't allowed. (At least I'd like to think that's one of the useful reasons.) I would say to also help people that aren't very good at describing their own physical movements so using a small technique template for a means to use taijutsu is a great help.

I believe Dante could defeat a couple of akatsuki members, I don't know about the rest of the kages.

Xylon- S/T, Sensory, KCM (cause he has Minato). Also Dark release KG, EIG, SM, Radioactive, and force release. Top it off with Yin-Yang.
Roku- Dark release (ce), Light, Sun fire, Dark fire also having complete mastery and abilities of the kiyoshi clan.

Their arsenal alone should explain. Hell don't make me add Mugiwara as well?
