True enough, and when I watched this fight (in which he solo's The Foot, Shredders top 2 henchman, then Shredder himself without breaking a sweat) I really thought Splinter would make a splendid ninja in the NW

That was a boss fight though, it's like Obito and Kakashi fighting over Rin, except the Shredder kills Splinters wife, kidnaps his baby daughter, than raises her to think Splinter killed her mom lolol, (at 6 minutes in)
