Topic changer: Why do you RP? & If you, like a lot of others here who are hanging on by a thread here, what keeps you sticking with it?

Personally: When I used to RP a lot, I did it because I'm a diagnosed insomniac who would stay up for 40-60+ hours at a time and only sleep 2 maybe 3 days out of the week so I end up with a lot of free time that turns to boredom if you have nothing else to do. What kept me coming back however is the friends I made here.

Gives me something to do on here. Before i rped id litterally do nothing but look at threads and not post, i joined the rp with like 200 posts after nearly 3 months of being a member, now i year later im 8100 posts in and actually having some fun.

I only keep coming back to this thread to see all the sh*t talk tbh, everyone taking shots and saying who's better then who ect ect makes me laugh

I joined the RP on a whim, won training from Scorps on X-mas, and from there here I am. It was something different, it did improve my typing skills, so I'm thankful for that. I love to train, I don't know why I just do, also coming up with custom techniques is always fun, fun to think of some and wait for them to get approved or not. I made a lot of friends just from the RP alone.

I guess you could say it's one of my rituals to come to NB, in a sense.

Well I just joined it on a whim. I was searching Naruto stuff on Google and stumble upon this site. I looked around and then Idk I found myself joining the rp. I became friends with LoK, Sin, and Sora(hope there isn't anyone else I left out) and we all just battled and trained. I found this site a place where I can just chill out and have fun but now psh yea right.

If anyone know who Sora is, then you are old as shizz

hahaha really? I remember someone said they wanted to make the rp into a 3D or something game. Who was that? Anyone know?

Why I joined rp? I believe I saw Mugi wreck someone in a thread somewhere and asked about rp. Soon after, reborn filled me in on rp and pushed me to join by saying I could be a Hyuga and If I did he'd kill me. Me being stupidly competitive took that in and instantly spammed to 2400 posts and made a Hyuga and have rp since than.

I started just chillin and debating in the discussion forums though. Lol. Nk used to always link me to some vs discussions and we'd all discuss. Hehe.

Leading on from here, I got bored of making Vs Threads (there's only so many good match ups) and Logic/Tosen/Reborn convinced me to join xD.

I actually joined the rp because.. I have a huge imagination. When me and my brother was younger we would go into "Fantasy" worlds.. We would use sticks as sword and make up a story line.. and it be the best. Came across it on here and was like.. hmm.. Im liking this then Johnito Uchiha (Blake=Korra) told me I can create my own bio, blah blah blah. So I did, realized that, I had a rival who was in the same training grounds as me. I then challenged most of the big name people (Akautski, Rp Mods, and Senseis) and I got known for that... and arguing alot.. U_U I normally came on nb to share how I feel tobi was Obito.. which I still think.. :| .... But this is the next best thing to living an actual ninja..

What keeps me steady rping? Well, tbh... If the rp dies. Im leaving without a 2nd thought. If you noticed, RPers, and Nbsers are 2 sides to the website. I rarely touch anything out the rp, and im sure they do the same. I asked scorps once why he put so much into this website blah blah. And he told me if he could just help one person he did something good, I then asked him what he meant and he told me that everyday, people come here to escape reality, vent etc. Trouble teens mostly. and by making this website their escape ground. you helped them from doing something they might wouldve regretted. And that moment. the respect i had for him went off the roof, cause Rping helped me get over 2 very serious situations where I literally wanted to escape from the world (Not die, but just be forgotten) and rping helps me forget about my problems.. so thats why i still hang on to it.

Well, don't really know, I saw many times ppl talking about RP, training and stuff. I was told to make a bio and wait on approval by Merita. I was basically convinced by Merita, Kuroh and by NK in the old Death Note games.

I just cam to read manga and then I stumbled across the Biography rules and when I saw you could make a Kaguya I had to make a bio and start U_U

I think I met NK, Tsuki, Bloo, Kuroh, Megaanime, and a few other Rp'ers from mafia games and FG section ._.

i found the site randomly and first started in the forum games "post the first thing in your mind" and me being the nerd i am posted LOTR quotes ._. andthats how I met "MeandmyRasengan" (now Tsuna...). He introduced me to konoha town rp and later on he joined the nb rp and tried to convince me to join. took him a while but he did it xD now he's inactive ;__;
