Yeah spot on. Lets jump into their techs then.Y'all wild. So Dan will handle the Ronin training, Vayne can handle the Samurai one.
Anyway, I'm not gonna detail their history, I'd just be copying from their thread at that point. Ronin are the counterparts to Samurai, and similarly to them, they utilize swords, but that's where the comparisons stop. Their attacks, rather than dealing physical damage, directly harm the opponents spirit and cause spiritual damage. This is known as Ronin Kenjutsu. This isn't limited purely to just causing spiritual damage though, as it can be used to sever the flow of spiritual energy, which naturally causes an imbalance and prevents chakra from flowing properly and results in other effects. They have a spiritual version of Iaido, and are also spiritual sensors, allowing them to detect techniques that fall under that category, or people. I'll exclude the other stuff as it isn't directly tied to Ronin.
Yes yesThis is pretty neat tbh. As it says, it has similar principles to Samurai Sabre tech. So once used, it creates a meter-long wispy effect around the blade that extends it's reach and binding ability. You can create arcs of spiritual energy through swings that can cause opponents techniques to dissipate upon contact. It reaches up to long range as well which is solid, and of course it's neutral to all.
Yeah thats the more "you ain't making future handseals for higher techs" rather than "i'm cutting through your current handseals Hanzo style"Wew, be careful you ain't get caught slipping against this.
So yeah, there's not too much to add to this tbh. It's the spiritual version of Iaido. Unlike the Samurai version, the severs the spiritual connection, preventing certain Ranks from being used. Due to the user forming the hilt and blade whenever they're using it, it can catch people off guard because there's no tell, like holding the sword. Of course, it deals no damage, which is the only downside, but not really lol.
The fact this shit lasts for six turns each use is kinda wild too on top of everything else. But hey, enjoy it.Huehue, you know it. Rightfully called the ultimate technique lol, not much to add here. It's pretty self explanatory, 20 damage shaving for spiritual attacks, Genjutsu immunity from regular illusions, obviously not counting against Yin infused Gen or MS level. It also boosts the users speed and Spiritual Kenjutsu. Can't hate on this at all.
Yeah and severing that connection will end the technique.Yeah, it's hella good for sure.
This is also pretty lit, I mean all the Ronin Kenjutsu techniques are nice if we're being honest. You create an ethereal arm and sword around yours, basically like a coating, which makes your hand and sword intangible, allowing it to pass through stuff while the energy around them makes contact, cutting through the spiritual energy of a jutsu or soul of an opponent.
Imagine that saying "Rules were made to be broken" and replace it with "jutsu were made to be abused".Pretty nice, and ayy, I won't abuse it, maybe lol.
A technique utilized after activating Unfettered Mind, this basically allows your to create the Ronin equivalent of Susano'o. Again not much to add because it's well explained. This allows strikes to pass through physical targets and attack the spirit directly. You can only use Ronin and regular Kenjutsu through the Ethereal Guardian though, which ain't a big deal to me.
Ight thats all the cannon techs. Any questions about the techniques or the field itself? Most is pretty self explanatory.Gotta be careful in public and that.
This one is a bit different compared to the others. This allows the user to create a spiritual link with your opponent that let's you use perform techniques with only half the chakra, drawing the other half from their chakra pool. Due to the mixing of the chakra, this allows it to bypass opponents defenses and damage their spirit directly despite damage shaving. You do lose 10 health per turn while this is active though, it can be deactivated whenever you want. Pretty cool that it can be used by itself or alongside others techniques.
