Ok to tell the truth I did not really understand this poneglyph thing before. But while rewatching the skypiea arc, I came to understand the poneglyph part. Apparently these poneglyphs are scattered all over the grand line. And the person who goes through the grand line is bound to encounter them. Now it seems that Roger encountered these poneglyphs. So I believe that he recorded all the passages on these poneglyphs during his Journey. And the crux of my theory is,
Roger created the RIO PONEGLYPH and named it as One piece!
It is the one stone that carries the entire history of the world and the location of all the ancient weapons and story about the origin of the Devil fruits. Rio ponegyph is the one piece that carries the information of all the other poneglyphs in the world.
The things that support this theory are, the ancient rule for the shandians that they need to protect the poneglyphs until someone comes to visit them. And Roger being able to hear the voice of all things might have heard the poneglyphs speak to him about the creation of the final poneglyph. And hence his famous quote,
"I have come here and
will lead this passage to
the farthest ends of the world "
-Gol D. Roger
Also the fact that the world government is so afraid of the One Piece being discovered is that it is not just any treasure but it is the entire history of the world along with all the locations of these weapons the government is so afraid of.
