Notice how the criminal was simply using the gun as a terror weapon and the citizen was using it to protect himself.
I can't help but feel sympathy for the robber. He was probably young who was brought up the wrong way. Its sad to think about.

Having terrible parents, or no parents at all, is no excuse for scummy behavior. That guy got exactly what was due. You don't get to wave a gun in someones face then cry "My parents suck though!" when you get shot.
Bad upbringing is no reason for becoming a criminal. He may need help but its his choice to rob that person.
You both are misinterpreting what I said. I'm not trying to justify his actions; just that it could have been different for him had he had better parents, an inspirational figure, a better upbringing, etc. Had he not been mixed with the wrong crowd, such acts could have been prevented. Humans are influenced into what they do.

I agree, some people can't do the right thing when they are faced with dire circumstances in life. Had the condition been different, that person who got shot might have become a decent person.![]()
