Notice how the criminal was simply using the gun as a terror weapon and the citizen was using it to protect himself.

Shows criminals you can't mess with citizens when they have guns too. Were public carrying of guns banned in Venezuela, the citizen would have no means of protecting his life, were the criminal to use it more than just for fear.

I can't help but feel sympathy for the robber. He was probably young who was brought up the wrong way. Its sad to think about.

Having terrible parents, or no parents at all, is no excuse for scummy behavior. That guy got exactly what was due. You don't get to wave a gun in someones face then cry "My parents suck though!" when you get shot.

Bad upbringing is no reason for becoming a criminal. He may need help but its his choice to rob that person.

You both are misinterpreting what I said. I'm not trying to justify his actions; just that it could have been different for him had he had better parents, an inspirational figure, a better upbringing, etc. Had he not been mixed with the wrong crowd, such acts could have been prevented. Humans are influenced into what they do.

I agree, some people can't do the right thing when they are faced with dire circumstances in life. Had the condition been different, that person who got shot might have become a decent person. :whip:

What decent person tries to jack someone's car?

I'm saying maybe if he grew up in a better environment and not surrounded by bad influence, he might have turned out to be a decent person, instead of getting shot trying to steal some petty cash! :whip:

Its funny how well you people have created an elaborate reality about what is really happening in this video with no sound, from Venezuela.

I bet dude re-spawned around the corner. U.O.E.N.O

I somewhat agree on feeling pity for the guy, but he reaped what he sown. Own fault. I hope he'll be ok though..

Judging by your username and the way you elaborate on your posts, I'd say you're a Jacque Fresco admirer? ;P
