Yea great explanation, I was wondering why menma looked like Sasuke with Narutos whisker markings?!? And why Akatsuki was helping, that was weird and the summons that menma was doing was a little weird also....I figured the alternate version would still be the same as Naruto

The Akatsuki being good was just a twist, like Kiba having a cat fetish. Menma was a jinchuuriki so he had the whiskers, and I think his black hair came from Tobi's influence on him.

Well see that's where ppls perception of the whiskers come into play....I don't know myself so I can't say that he has them because he's a jinchuriki or that he was born with them cuz his mom was or what...

Really? Last I checked there was only 7 billion people in the world. To think even a seventh of them were Naruto fans...

Anyways, the movie wasn't all that great :/ I was disappointed.
