[Discussion] Rinnengan at full power - Eyes of God

Hello, I would like to summarize all Rinnengan powers to provide it being supperior dojutsu and supperior to all jutsu in Narutoverse.

Full power of Rinnengan:

1. Six paths of pain:

Human Path -

Spoiler

grants a Rinnegan user the ability to read the mind of any target by placing his hand on the target's head or chest and yanking the soul out of the body. Though it provides intel by getting well guarded secrets, the technique inevitably kills the target.

Asura Path -

Spoiler

grants the user the ability to summon mechanised armour, augmenting their body with extra limbs and various robotic weaponry. Through the Asura Path, the user is able to form four additional arms and two additional faces, as well as a folded, serrated blade-like sash around their waist. These additional appendages, as well as the user's body as a whole, are augmented with a variety of mechanical weaponry, which they can access at will. The user can fire their forearms as long-range projectiles or pull them off to reveal and fire a cluster of segmented missiles at targets. They are also able to protrude a set of flexible blades and drills or mechanical tendrils from their arms and quickly propel themselves forward with a burst of chakra from their feet. The user can also release a powerful chakra blast

Animal Path -

Spoiler

grants a Rinnegan user the ability of summoning various animals and creatures to aid it in battle. These creatures appear to be immortal, as they were killed and later summoned again. Worthy of note, summoning creatures through the Animal Path require no blood sacrifice or hand seals. The Animal Path can also summon people, which requires hand signs, as in the case of Nagato's Paths and Konan.

Naraka Path -

grants the user two main abilities: interrogation and restoration, by using the King of Hell. The Naraka Path ability makes heavy use of the King of Hell. The King of Hell is a large head which sprouts out of the ground surrounded by purple flames. It also possesses the Rinnegan as well as the shared field of vision along with the other summons. The King of Hell could fulfil two purposes: interrogation and restoration.

Preta Path -

Spoiler

grants the user the ability to absorb an infinite amount of chakra in any form using the Blocking Technique Absorption Seal. This technique can also take the form of a barrier around the user's entire body, allowing them to absorb attacks from all directions. Preta Path is able to absorb chakra from an individual through physical contact.

Deva Path -

Spoiler

grants the user the ability to manipulate attractive and repulsive forces with objects and people. These gravity manipulating techniques, however, cannot be performed in rapid succession; the amount of time required to recharge after use varies depending on the scale of the technique used. The Deva Path also grants another ability: Chibaku Tensei which allows the user to create a huge makeshift terrestrial body from all the surrounding matter that is attracted to a black sphere released by this technique.

2. Elemental ninjutsu:

- Wind release
- Fire release
- Water release
- Earth release
- Lightining release

3. Additional abilities:

Magic Lantern Body Technique -

This technique amplifies the thought waves and broadcasts them to a specific location through illusionary bodies. The illusionary bodies differ from being mere reflections. While Pain is relaying the members' thoughts, they can have conversation and use varying techniques.

Five-Seal Barrier -

Spoiler

This technique creates a barrier around a place by placing four "forbidden" (禁, kin) tags in different locations surrounding the place to be protected, a fifth tag on the location to be protected. The tags are placed on flat surfaces, and are connected with the user's chakra. This technique turns the entire range surrounded by the tags into a barrier space, and inside the space, the material's destruction is "forbidden".

Shapeshifting Technique -

This technique allows Rinnengan user to allocate a portion of an individual's chakra and transfers it into a living human sacrifice, allowing the original to fight via an elaborate "copy". The appearance of the person on whom the Shapeshifting Technique is performed is completely identical to the original person. The technique will imitate any weapons, tools or kekkei genkai held by the original person, allowing the copy to fight with them. The power of the copy is in proportion to the volume of allocated chakra, which is decided by Rinnengan user. The original's techniques are also available, but once the allocated chakra is depleted, the technique is cancelled and the copy dies.

Rain Tiger at Will Technique -

A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with Rinnengan user's own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to Rinnengan user's senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone not of the village, the existence of the intruder can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until Rinnengan user uses the seal to cancel it.

Sealing Technique: Phantom Dragons Nine Consuming Seals -

The Sealing Technique: Phantom Dragons Nine Consuming Seals is a technique that was used by Rinnengan user with some comapny or no to forcibly drain the spirit and chakra of the tailed beasts from their still-living jinchūriki, then to seal it in the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

4. Ying and Yang release:

techniques, based on the spiritual energy that governs the imagination, can be used to create form out of nothingness. When combined with Yang Release, it allows the use of Yin–Yang Release

Yang release -

Spoiler

techniques, based on the physical energy that governs vitality, can be used to breathe life into form. When combined with Yin Release, it allows the use of Yin–Yang Release.

5. Outer path of Rinnengan -

is the seventh path, an ability granted to the wielder of the Rinnegan. With the Outer Path, the user is able to control life and death by reviving the dead, bind and restrict foes, as well as create and control the Six Paths of Pain.

Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique -

By channelling their power through the King of Hell, the Rinnegan wielder can re-infuse new life force energy to the bodies of those who have died. With their rejuvenated bodies acting as an anchor, the individual souls are then able to leave even the crossroad between life and the afterlife, returning back to their physical vessels. The technique targets all the individuals killed, even those not necessarily killed by the user. This technique seemingly requires a massive amount of chakra.

6. Summoning of Juubi corpse - Demonic Statue of the Outer Path

Demonic Statue Chains -

A technique derived from the Outer Path, which allows the user to manifest chakra chains to bind their target. These chains are strong enough to bind several tailed beasts to a user, even remotely. Through the use of chakra receivers, the user can manifest the chains in other beings, binding a target to the user. These chains are also capable of binding anything that touches the chakra receiver, and according to the Five-Tails, it causes a great deal of pain.

The dragon-like entity from the statue removing souls -

dragon-like form of energy emitted from its Demonic Satute of Outer Path's mouth. When this dragons came into contact with ordinary humans, the humans' souls were ripped from their bodies, killing them.

7. Creation of All things -

The process involves the administration of imagination, and the spiritual energy which forms the basis of Yin chakra to create physical forms from nothingness. Then, through the application of vitality, and the physical energy which forms the basis of Yang chakra, he would breathe life into the resulting creations.

THAT IS ALL GRANTED RINNENGAN POWER UNTIL TODAY

Possible Rinnengan powers:

Control the weather - As we know Nagato via Deva Path was able to create rain clouds and cause Rain to fall from these rain clouds. Maybe Rinnengan user could create thounder clouds to make lightings appearing on sky and could use it(Kirin anyone). He could create and control tornado, cause snow to fall from sky or much more. Considering mastery over all Five basic nature release, i could say it could be possible.

Telekinesis, psychokinessis -

levitation, flying, moving object from distance, control object from distance and much more. Force catch, Force choking, Force Throw(I know i took it from Star Wars) but why not, maybe too op.

Immunity to Genjutsu -

Sage of six paths fought juubi who, had nine tomoe eyes, probaly sharingan ancestor, so maybe full mastery over Rinnengan protect it's user from genjutsu, or master over Ying release could let Rinnengan user to easily alter world made by Genjutsu, including release yourself from it.

Total regeneration/healing -

regrowing any lost/cut parts of body, regeneration on cellular level. DNA modification etc.

Bloodline ability and Bloodline Selection -

access to use Wood release, Dust Release, Ice release etc., or maybe even possibilty of creating new ones.

Control over Time and Space flows -

Space Time ninjutsu to counter Kamui, itangibility, travel thorught dimmensions, transdimensional attack, slowing Time ability, Rewind Time ability, Reverse time ability and much more. Possibly due to possesing mastery over Ying and Yang release.

Please remember that Nagato couldn't use full Rinnengan potential, because it was transplanted in his eyes. Obito has transplanted Rinnengan too, so he couldn't make use of full power Rinnengan.

Madara is orginally user of Rinnengan so he could probably show us full power of Rinnengan, but i think that Kishi will avoid it and save it for Sage of six paths to show full power of Rinnengan..

Now, I would like to discuss Rinnengan counter to all sharingan abillities, so please read:

Kamui - Shinra Tensei, Bansho Tenin and Chibaku Tensei, all power base of control over gravity, could possibly repel, push or catch and keep him restrained. Creation of all things, Kamui cause you to lost your limbs or other parts of body, no problem just imagine they are back. Kamui draws you into Obito World, no problem just imagine it never happened or simply imagine that you are back in normal word.

Amaterasu - Shinra Tensei - push black flames away. Preta Path, possibly absorbtion of chakra from black flames could cause them to disappear without source to make them burn. Creation of All things, just imagine black flames to dissappear or something. Yang release, just breath life into yourself again or something

Tsyukomii - Creation of All Things, Master over Ying release, just imagine you was never caught into Tsyukomii, or with mastery over Ying release, you can simply take control over Tsyukomii Word and catch your enemy into his world.

Sussano - Bansho Tenin, pull user out of Sussano. Preta Path, just absorb Sussano. Creation of All things, create yourself sussano or imagine that sussano isn't there.

Kotoamatsukami - really tricky hax abillity, because it catch without let user to know it, but anyway Creation of All things, mastery over Ying Release could solve this problem.

Izanagi/Izanami - Creation of all things, no more is need to be said.

All sharingan abilities countered

full power Rinnengan > full power sharingan(even with all MS jutsu in one eyes)

Not full power Rinnengan =< full power sharingan

Not full power Rinnengan<=> not full power sharigan, depends from both users ability over each doujutsu

thanks , yeah if Nagato has orginal eyes then he could too op , but we have Madara still, orginal user of Rinnengan, second sage of six paths, but unfortunetly he doesn't mastered Rinnengan powers or noone push him to use it.

Thanks , Anyway by Normal Rinnengan you meant Madara's Rinnengan trasplanted in Nagato, so we still didn't see all powers of original user of Rinnengan, let's hope Madara will show us, once and finally Rinnengan > Sharingan

Nagato having it transplanted doesnt make it weak, the physical damage done to him in the fight against Hanzo made him weak which forced him to use 6 bodies instead of his real body with all paths, Nagato mastered the Rinnegan.

Thanks a lot for your input , Yeah I think you could be right, with his body being crippled after clash with Hanzo. Anyway I stick to my theory that transplanted Rinnegan can't use full potential of Rinnengan, only original user could show us true and unlimited power of Rinnengan

However only orignal users of Rinnengan(not transplanted) possesing both Senjuu and Uchiha DNA , who will train and develop full potential of abillites Rinnengan give user could be overpowered.

Transplanted Rinnengan user even at full power, is not overpowered. Even Orignal User, possesing both Senjuu and Uchiha DNA but without training (Madara) could be still not overpowered xD.

One does simply never understimate Rinnengan or mess with Eyes of God

Nice theory man, it was an interesting read I wonder about the part though of it making the user imune to genjutsu. As Jiraiya was able to kill 3 of the paths when ma and pa toad placed them under their singing genjutsu. Still though the Rinnengan is badass

Thanks for you input By Immunity to genjutsu I meant mastery over Yin release is required. Nagato probably couldn't master or even develop Yin release, because he would have to have Uchiha DNA. Besides maybe Rinnegan is only immune to occular genjutsu like kotoamatsukomii, tsyukomii etc. , but not immune to rest of Genjutsu which attack other sense than sight. That or you have to posses mastery over Rinnengan, which is only avaliable to user if he naturally awake them by possesing Uchiha and Senjuu DNA.

Anyway, It is really interesting question. Maybe Sage of six paths has Sage mode too, to protect him from all types of genjutsu besides occular and Rinnengan to be immune to occular genjutsu .

You may be right with "everyone knows rinnengan is the strongest ninjutsu" statement, however I wanted to prove and estabilish this fact creating thread which contain all Rinnengan abilities . Some people still deny this face about Rinnengan so I wanted to convince them, anyway great logic.

Last statement are true, except if same user has Rinnengan jutus and other jutsu on the same mastery level then Rinnengan jutsu is stronger. However I agree with this statement "A novice with a sword can lose to a master with a kunai", it was said by Zetsu. We can use it as rule, however please remeber that there is always exceptions from any rule.

Besides Kishi would make it like my thread statetment, however it could be too op and too much for all other characters, he could have ready problem to explain how main character could defeat someone with these abilites, then story could go differently and people could complain how it is not fun as Rinnengan beat everything

Well, that depends how you define abilities. IMO coming up with a brilliant strategy - which Shikamaru for instance is an expert in - is also an ability. This ability has nothing to do with whatever jutsu's you can perform (though it is dependent on it, of course).
Best example is Naruto's victory over Neji in the chunin finals. This strategy was a master plan. Fooling the byakugan at the right moment, and creating a diversion to win. This is not something Naruto could come up with, unless he had such strong feelings for the fight. So in my opinion, having guts, beliefs, and strong feelings is the most OP ability, because it let you come up with new "abilities".

Yeah, but then it's opinion based, not manga based. So creating this thread probably wont make them change their mind. And you are - after all - entitled to your own opinion, regardless of what Kishi tries to show us.

Well, Jiraya did one with ma and pa. Sound genjutsu is also extremely OP, since no counter jutsu's have been seen.

Another would be edo tensei. A jutsu with no weaknesses - as Kabuto said. Madara pointed one out, however, that wasn't quite under the "right" circumstances. It may not "counter" rinnengan, but it can be used to use summons, which combined, can beat a rinnengan user.

Also there is Koto Amatsukami, of course it would not work on Pain, but on Madara it probably would.

Also we could mention several shinobi weapons, which have unique abilities - such as the Sage's weapons wielded by Gin/Kin.

Of course, this requires the user can resist some of the rinnengan abilities in the first place, but that is a given no matter who fights.¨

And of course, when you rely too much on a few abilities, you will also - eventually - create openings, which in turn can result in a weakness. If the wielder relies too much on - say the gravitational push for defense, it can easily become a weakness as shown many times already.

 

[The Madara Uchiha]

Rinnegan was at full power when Nagato had it except he wasn't able to use it due to his bodys condition but I think Madara will show off how it's really done.
