MS Obito has neither.

MS Obito would not be able to slip through attacks that he can't see coming, no matter how fast of a reaction time he has.

Limbo is literally the only counter to Obito's Kamui.

Good point, but does Kamui need to be activated consciously to phase through objects? Or is phasing an automatic function of his sharingan? I don't remember his kamui not working due to any surprise attack that he couldn't have reacted too. I don't believe this was ever addressed.

This could be one example, but I thought this was mainly because he has to materialize when making an attack?

But when you think about it, considering the speed of Minato's movement and Rasengan, if Obito could autonomously use the phasing aspect of Kamui, then he would've had time to stop his materialization and phase through the attack. Also, if it was automatic, then he would've avoided the second attack, when Minato placed the contract seal on him.

That's a logical explanation with Minato's second attack, and I also now remember Naruto's surprise attack making some contact. I wish this was addressed more clearly but these examples do provide some explanation.

Intangibility is automatic, obito had to turn it off in order to touch rin. [

Turning on the intangible effect is not automatic, obito had to turn his phasing off in order to touch minato, & since minato can move instantly he was able to hit obito before he could activate his intangibility again.

OT: Yes limbo would work because it would constantly prevent obito from touching madara, since the clones are invisible obito won't ever have the chance to surprise him.

Nice find with the two manga scans. I was starting to think intangibility needs to be willingly activated, but these pages definitely make it seem like it's automatic.

Regarding how this would work with Madara, it would make it more difficult for Obito to attack him. However, if intangibility is automatic, Obito would still be able to slip through attacks unlike the claim in the original post.
