I am pretty sure he could, Madara is literally nothing without his eyes whether they be rinnegan or sharingan. He has done absolutely no jutsu that is not related to his dojutsu.

i think rinnegan & sharingan can't be compared (since sharingan is rinnegan's "son") both of them have their own jutsu that can't be used by others.
the user of rinnegan can use "Izanagi" without causing any harm to the rinnegan while it'll cause a permanent blindness to a sharingan user.
And a sharingan user can use amaterasu and susano'o.
And most of the sharingan&rinnegan user have an enormous chakra.

while byakugan is a piece of crap, the user will be able to use gentle fist to stop the enemy's chakra movement. And by using gentle fist, the user have to hit the enemy directly. It's nearly impossible to hit an enemy with a sharingan/rinnegan (sharingan can see your movement in a slow motion and a rinnegan user will use one of his "path" like Deva Path or Human Path).

that's all. a byakugan user will never beat a rinnegan/sharingan user. :no_ignore:

MS and EMS has some perks like sasanoo and ameritsu and the whole dimension shift thing is awesome but all in all rinengan has more power and enables the user to master any ninjutsu he see's not copy it. the rinnengan has no known weakness. just face the facts.
