Rinnegan is overated

You can't possibly be suggesting that Madara is at a disadvantage now just because Naruto's fought Pein. I don't even need to make a huge argument here. He made a giant Chibaku Tensei-like meteor within a split second, and when Oonoki tried to stop it with his full power, Madara completely trolled him and made a second one, putting a Kage, who has been shown to be quite strong, at a near-death state while instilling pure fear within the other present Kage and the only other Kage-level ninja.

No matter what Naruto has seen of the Rinnengan thus far (and the fact that he doesn't have other bodies and doesn't have the field of vision is not a big enough drawback to take away much from him), by no stretch of the imagination is Madara at any disadvantage here. Compared to Madara's Rinnengan (I mean, really, two huge meteors back to back?) Nagato's was still in its beta stages. In fact, based on the double-Susanoo thing, the fact that Madara's Rinnengan developed naturally unlike Nagato's (the fact that Nagato was an Uzumaki and the Rinnengan is only developed after apparently obtaining the EMS pretty much confirms that Madara, or maybe even Tobi somehow got his hands on them, gave Nagato the Rinnengan) probably means that Madara has plenty of other abilities that Nagato would never have been able to obtain.

But yeah, the fact that three people have the Rinnengan is a bit ridiculous. I was expecting it to be one of those one-time things after Pein died. I guess Kishi likes the ideas of crazy powerful eyes too much to let it go.

Ranks dont count for sh*t. Kakashi is a Kage-level jounin. Darui is a Kage-level jounin. Sasuke is a Kage-level GENNIN.

AND, Naruto has the body of the Sage which triumphs over the eyes.

~_~ You just like, ignored the entire argument. Naruto doesn't know Madara's techniques. Unless you're getting some secret manga scans, this is the first time that we've seen a double Susanoo. If Madara doesn't have any powers further than what he's shown thus far, then I give up on Naruto manga entirely. Naruto knows the gist of the Rinnengan. He knows what someone can do when they've had it transplanted. He has no idea what a person who's obtained it naturally and has the full extent of its powers can do. Again, the meteors. They're not even Chibaku Tensei (they had no real gravitational pull). It's an entirely new technique.

Don’t know if anyone has made a thread like this and if somebody has; I apologize. I believe the Rinnegan is overrated. Most Ninjas in the leaf know the techniques that come along with the Rinnegan. That is a weakness that didn’t existed before Pein’s attack to Konoha. I think the Rinnegan was great when Pein had it and the only shinobi who had it before him was the SO6P. Now Madara, Tobi, and all the Edo Jinjuriki have the Rinnegan. What’s up with that, did they have a Rinnegan special in the village’s shop?
I believe that if Madara ends up fighting Naruto he’s going to have a hard time.

1. Naruto, Gaara, and the Tsuchikage figured out how to separate Madara from Suusano. This might also apply in the fight with sasuke.

2. Of course Naruto knows the Rinnegan powers very well and learned them even more when fighting against Edo Nagato.

3. Madara doesn’t have other bodies to share the field of vision. Kagebunshin might work, but if he doesn’t make them, it would be a disadvantage to him.

4. Now that the Kyuubi is cooperating with Naruto, it will easier for Naruto to power up. The kyuubi knows Madara very well, it will be a great source of intel for Naruto.

5.The worst part would be if Sasuke ends up with the Rinnegan. Enough said, your guys have flamed this idea enough.

I believe Kishi set the stage for Naruto to fight Madara. It will be interesting to find out what else Madara can do but right now, the Rinnegan is way overrated.

1. Gaara needs Tsuchikage to be able to pull Madara/Sasuke out of Susanoo. Without their combined powers it won't happen again the way it did to Madara.

Madara's version of the Rennigan seems far stronger then Nagato's so far. Plus he has EMS to go with it. If its a 1v1 then Naruto will lose.

Edo madara,s rinnegan is way more powerful and prob has more techs than nagato,s.

we have no proof that madara's rinnegan is more powerful than nagato's. don't forget that the paths of pain were diluted versions of nagato's power, as evidenced in his second fight vs naruto, all his techs were much stronger. also, nagato had the rinnegan for much longer than madara, and so is much more experienced with it. i doubt madara has fully mastered the rinnegan
