Rinnegan is overated

Don’t know if anyone has made a thread like this and if somebody has; I apologize. I believe the Rinnegan is overrated. Most Ninjas in the leaf know the techniques that come along with the Rinnegan. That is a weakness that didn’t existed before Pein’s attack to Konoha. I think the Rinnegan was great when Pein had it and the only shinobi who had it before him was the SO6P. Now Madara, Tobi, and all the Edo Jinjuriki have the Rinnegan. What’s up with that, did they have a Rinnegan special in the village’s shop?
I believe that if Madara ends up fighting Naruto he’s going to have a hard time.

1. Naruto, Gaara, and the Tsuchikage figured out how to separate Madara from Suusano. This might also apply in the fight with sasuke.

2. Of course Naruto knows the Rinnegan powers very well and learned them even more when fighting against Edo Nagato.

3. Madara doesn’t have other bodies to share the field of vision. Kagebunshin might work, but if he doesn’t make them, it would be a disadvantage to him.

4. Now that the Kyuubi is cooperating with Naruto, it will easier for Naruto to power up. The kyuubi knows Madara very well, it will be a great source of intel for Naruto.

5.The worst part would be if Sasuke ends up with the Rinnegan. Enough said, your guys have flamed this idea enough.

I believe Kishi set the stage for Naruto to fight Madara. It will be interesting to find out what else Madara can do but right now, the Rinnegan is way overrated.

I don't think the Rinnegan itself is overrated. It's power is pretty legit. Even knowing Pain's abilities Naruto still got worked by Edo Nagato.
I agree that it's starting to get spammed, much like Sasuke's MS techs, and unfortunately I think that is devaluing the rinnegan in some peoples eyes.

Susano'o has nothing to do with Rinnegan. Kyuubi is only stuck between a rock and a hard place. He doesn't like Naruto but would rather him then Madara. Everybody knows the techniques of Sharingan and Byakugan. Rinnegan is the eyes of the Sage of Six Paths. It can't be overrated because it belonged to the man that CREATED ninjutsu.

i dont think he has more powers just that he can use the powers on a different scale. For example edo nagato used the same justu on naruto(ch.459 pg. 9). Madara was just able to use giant rocks.

He doesnt need other bodies lmao, dude has a giant meteor move that he can spam over and over, He has the keke genkai that made the first hokage famous, the rinnegan, his two unknown mangekyou abilities and susanno, and on top of that he can regenerate, if thats not the definition of Overpowered...i dont know what is

Agree. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Madara can do with it. The one thing that Madara has against him is that he hasn't have the Rinnegan for a long time. Nagato had the Rinnegan since he was a Kid.

Didn't mean all three against Sasuke, Just that all three of them figured out how to separate the user from Susano. That most likely is Suusano's weakness.

Ranks dont count for sh*t. Kakashi is a Kage-level jounin. Darui is a Kage-level jounin. Sasuke is a Kage-level GENNIN.

AND, Naruto has the body of the Sage which triumphs over the eyes.
