I don't get it. Rinnengan doesn't naturally come after Sharingan, does it?

Sharingan was derived from Rinnengan. Rinnengan existed first. Sharingan is like an evolution of it because it the same eye in a body without Senju DNA. So it didn't come out as a Rinnengan but a Sharingan instead.

through common sense it should be able to do everything a sharigan can do but doesn't look like it can.
