Rinnegan also have ripple pattern which is said to observe a jutsu so he can learn quickly (not copying).

I believe the ripple pattern also expand your field vision even though it's not 360 Degrees like Byakugan. Meaning the user can look to sideline.

He can only use Rinnegan techniques when his Rinnegan is active. The only exception is Susano'o.

The only MS technique Madara has been shown using while his Rinnegan was active is his Susano'o. It has been shown in the manga many times that MS doesn't have to be active to be able to use Susano'o. Now, just because Madara was shown using his Susano'o while his Rinnegan was active, that doesn't mean that he can use his other MS techniques. Madara's Rinnegan is no different than Nagato's just because he evolved his and Nagato's was "implanted". The Rinnegan and Sharingan are two completely different doujutsu; Madara having to switch from one to the other to use different doujutsu techniques also proves this.

This being said, the Rinnegan and Sharingan are two completely different doujutsu. Just because the Rinnegan evolves from EMS, doesn't mean that all of their Sharingan(3-Tomoe, MS, EMS) techniques will be available to them. The only Sharingan(MS) technique that any Uchiha will be able to use whilst their Rinnegan being active is Susano'o.

proof? The fact that there is an exception would suggest that he can use rinnegan and sharingan techniques simultaneously. Unless it was explicitly stated that he can't with the Susano'o being the sole exception (which seems unlikely).

You could be right about the other stuff. But. The Rinnegan definitely does not have 360° vision as repeatedly seen and proven when Jaraiya and Naruto fought pain.

In order to truly have 360° vision you would need to be able to see through stuff [X-ray vision] Because you'll need to see through the back of your head to have a 360° field of vision. The Rinnegan cant see through stuff as seen when Naruto covered one of the Pain's eyes with his hands to obstruct his field of vision.
